You should hear Foxtrot talk about him. Not pretty!

    Quick attach options

Thread lesson for new tractor owners: Don't buy a tractor with a pinned bucket ie. without SSQA (or JD's equivalent).

    Project Farm engine oil test

According to Arfcom's SME on oil, Shell Rotella is crap for what you pay for. Much better oils. He probably mentions it in this thread somewhere: Foxtrot08 makes an oil thread! - AR15.COM Foxtrot08 is the SME. He runs a large oil distributor.

Something to lift logs to cut into fire wood

For all the wood he used he could have got a grapple and saved a ton of time and probably money.

    3 point trailer hitch

I built one for my tractor probably 10 or more years ago. Never used it. It was far easier to just add a receiver hitch to my box blade: If you want mine, come get it! I65 near the AL/TN border.

Something to lift logs to cut into fire wood

This is entirely avoidable. I've been bucking logs like this since I bought my grapple over 7 years ago and have never touched the grapple with the chainsaw (knock on wood). Once you'd down to 5-6 feet of log, it's easy to manipulate the log so only a foot or so is grabbed by the grapple...

Something to lift logs to cut into fire wood

At 69, I'm right there with you. With my tractor and grapple, I've cut up whole trees and hardly ever actually touch the tree. the first time I might actually have to touch the tree is to maybe put some brush into the grapple vs picking it up with the grapple. The first time I usually have to...

I forgot to release hydraulic pressure when disconnecting my BX23S backhoe. What do I do now?

On the contrary, it's an excellent idea. I used to despise hooking up my grapple because of how hard it was to hook the FF connectors. Now, it's a piece of cake with the Irwin clamps. You are not going to hurt a +2500 psi hydraulic system with hand strength. Get it done.

    SOLD: EA 7' Land Plane/Leveler

I went back and looked: I bought this May 2020 (or more accurately: when it arrived at the Fedex truck port and I picked it up). I probably haven't used it more than a half dozen times or so.

    Converting to Quick hitch

Crappy "Before" pics, but this is how I did my LMV BB to fit my Agri-Supply Quick Hitch: After: In hindsight, I wish I had made the bottom clevis about an inch wider; there was no need for having that little space.
