Where does L3800 Block heater thread in!?

My heater is threaded for 3/4" hole and looks like the one you pictured. I guess I need the drive in adapter for the soft plug hole. I'll have to measure it and get one, just not sure where. Thanks for steering me in the right direction!

How to hook up backhoe on L3800 Gear.

hey wait a second, I am having a hard time understanding this. If I go from the PB on the front loader to the rear, then from the rear to the port on the block by my foot to the PB....then I would be not be returning anything to the tank...........right? Wouldn't this dead-head the pump...

How to hook up backhoe on L3800 Gear.

Let's say that theoretically I have a 1978 Long 1199B backhoe and built a nice 4 point mount subframe to install on my L3800 Kubota..... Also---let's say that I installed an aftermarket kit from immigrantpines on ebay to give me hydraulic remotes, which I installed on the rear of my L3800...

    L3800/LA524 Hydraulic Pressure

Sammy--I follow your chicken scratch perfectly. I got the the remote kit off of ebay last summer from the immigrantpines guy for 485, then fittings and such was another 200 bucks or less I'd say. So I got familiar with that block where the power beyond and all that stuff was. Curve ball...

SURVEY: Chattering 3 Point (going up)

my summer of 2013 purchase (L3800, 4x4, gear) has the jerky three point hitch. I told Dave in Columbus Ohio (the guy who works for Kubota's customer hub there) that I would sue Kubota if they didn't rectify the problem. He said flat out that it was normal and would never hurt anything. And he...

    L3800/LA524 Hydraulic Pressure

Can anyone point me in the direction of how to increase the pressure a tad or two on my L3800? I am going to put a rebuilt Long 1199B backhoe on the back soon when I am done welding up the sub-frame. I want to have decent operating speed. My Ansung 2540C FEL is fantastic but is a bit...

    Woods 6000 backhoe attachment

Someone has a Woods BH6000 for sale for 3,000 OBO. I have an L3800 gear drive tractor and would like a hoe for the back for small jobs. Harbor freight sells those little towable trenchers and that would be enough for me, but if I had the woods hoe it would last longer. THe woods 6000 is...

Kubota Brand 5520A trencher too big for L3800??

I have a 2013 L3800 4x4 gear drive. Saw a trencher for sale for around 1K that claims to be a Kubota 5520A trencher. Is it too big for my tractor? And I don't have any remote hydraulics on my tractor, probably need those to run the trencher to make it tilt (with the 3pt raising entire...

    Jerky 3-pt hitch - still a problem ??

I don't know if I specified this---I paid CASH for the tractor at the dealer. Think about that for a second---they have ZERO incentive to help me out. They got paid, it's done, it's over. If I had financed, they would be darn worried about it. I guess the next step is not asking...

    Jerky 3-pt hitch - still a problem ??

all fluids, every one is perfectly full. Tractor now has 17 hours on it. Talked to Dave Miller from Kubota Corp in Columbus and he is still telling me, "It is an economy tractor with an economy valve, it only has an UP and DOWN setting, no inbetween". He went on to tell me it's fine...

    Jerky 3-pt hitch - still a problem ??

on the road for work for a week, when I get back I'll check the fluids. If they are low then I am a dumbutt becuase I initialed the invoice stating that all fluids were fine upon delivery because the delivery guy was a nice guy and said he just checked it etc.... I hope to god they are full...

I bought a new L3800 Gear Drive with Ansung FEL, 5' Land pride hog, 48" (too big,too heavy @400lbs...)pallet forks, and a trailer all for one money. Tractor has jerky 3pt arms, loader does perfect. I put 10 hours on it and hoped the air bubbles would work out of 3 pt hitch (my...
