i have l3800 and book says 275 pounds for front weights you can mount 220 with suit case weights. that all i have on mine with a brush cover in front of hood
I need to do a 50 hr service check on my L3800 hst and i received a price of $260.00 for all oils, filter and labor. Im not sure if that is a fair price or not I would like a dealer to do it for warranty purpose and make a record of it. Thanks for your help
i have l3800 and love it and you are getting a great price with those implements. i also used the 0 percent interest to buy my tractor and implements, if i could afford a 100.00 more for five years i would go for it and get the larger tractor.
i have same tractor and i did the same thing brush hogging. i was lucky i called dealer after hours and he waited for me to purchse the part. it cost less than 25.00 for complete housing and it was plastic. I guess it so much fun brush hogging we forget to look forward to see the brush nocking...
i have a l3800 and i purchased a 60 inch tiller to use for food plots. i also had a spring tine i used behind my 4 wheeler made by kolpin dirtworks the only thing i had to change was the pin size from cat 0 to cat one and i used it this fall and was happy i could use it with my tractor.
it sound like you found a low hr machine and should have plenty of hp to do what you plan. i have a l3800 with a 5 ft brush hog and i have brush out some heavy material with it, welcome aboard and have fun with your new purchase
yes i have on my L 3800 . it is made for the left side but it is so close to same fit. i took and filed out the holes in the fender for a closer fit. i feel it is better than no rail at all, cost under 45.00.
thanks i think the right side is pre drilled with tape over the holes. i thought it should work im excited to put another one on. have a safe tractor day
I find myself hanging on to the fender on right side and wish I had a hand rail like on left side. I called dealer and they said it doesnt show one for that side, but I think you could put one from left on the right side and it should work, any ideas:)
how much damage will it cause if left in there. fell in trying to hold valve stem from turning on inside should have used a pliers instead. im going to remove it but do i need to?
i used my l3800 this weekend and found you need to clean that screen about every hour. i was in some heavy grass and it dry in minn and but checking this often keep my machine cool. i think i will check into that cheap hvac filter anthing could help:
