how much damage will it cause if left in there. fell in trying to hold valve stem from turning on inside should have used a pliers instead. im going to remove it but do i need to?

Tubeless, can't see that it'd do more than slide around, best way to do a tubeless screw in stem is with both beads broken and the tire pulled all the way to the outside. Sounds like you wanted a quick repair 
You might be able to lever the outer bead off, then snaggle your screwdriver with a magnetic pickup tool.
