    Loader/3pt pallet forks/Grapple

Plus, you get more lift capacity this way. (y) Say, Hoosier, do you have any pics of them mounted on the 3PH? I'd love to see that. Do you know what the lift capacity is when mounted in the rear? I would love to be able to handle firewood in tote cages using my BX, but the bucket won't...

Top and Tilt Cylinders - B2650

I don't know much about this stuff, so this question comes from ignorance: Could there be any problem from welding on the end of the cylinder with the cylinder fully assembled? I'm thinking of heat damage to the seals or cooking the fluid.

    Piranha Tooth Bar

FWIW, I've purchased a bar from them, and service was excellent, but that's a few years ago. I do like my Piranha bar! I goes on and comes off very quickly. There are some jobs that need it, some need a smooth edge. I like the fact that it isn't a big deal to change the configuration.

    L3800 White smoke, burning oil?

Yes, white smoke is not typical of burning oil. BeRad, this article on diesel engine smoke might help.

    Diesel in Oil

Might not hurt to buy a gallon of WalMart oil and just use it as a rinse. Then refill with your usual.

    Diesel in Oil

Stop running that engine unless you want to rebuild it.

    BX23S/BT603 Bracket failure

I did. :D The need to adjust for wear, as GreensvilleJay pointed out, is obviously legitimate. But trying to bump the pressure to get more power? That's just dumb.

    coastal multitrac tractor fluid

He has as much right to express his opinion as you do. The fact that someone works for Kubota does not make him an expert on what fluids are compatible with Kubota transmissions. If anything, it suggests he might be too biased to look at the facts.

Kubota B2650 cab Rear 12 volt connector

Yep. Probably fused at that, too.

    Home Brew Root Ripper

The single point looks really good, but it's been done. I haven't seen anything like your rake, though. I'm not sure how it would sell. I can see it getting a lot of work done, but if hit bigger roots, it would get stopped a lot sooner than a single ripper.

    Stump Bucket Grapple L4060

Nice. Might be a tad too much for my little BX, though. :D

2.5 gal YELLOW fuel can? (maybe Orange?)

I cheat. I use a 12v pump. I figure it was free, because I bought it to pump out a half-full home heating oil tank. I got the tank and the oil for free from a Craigslist ad. That's over a hundred gallons of #2 diesel. Yeah, I think that pump paid for itself! :)...

    BX22 Hydrostat Temp

Hmm. Good info. Makes me wonder what the fluid temp is. Probably not a lot more than what you measured. If one were to add a temp sensor to a BX, where would he put the sensor?

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Chainsaws don't have blades. The best thing I have found for sharpening chains is the Pferd Chain Sharp. I have never been able to master hand sharpening, so about 10 years ago I bought the Oregon top of the line sharpening machine, and that has been great. Nice to be able to do my own...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Looks really good. I see you are using quality nylon terminals, not the cheapo vinyl ones. Nice looking crimps, too. (y)

    BX23S/BT603 Bracket failure

I'm curious about this. I've never heard of a "hydraulic pressure improver kit", so I searched on that and got nothing. Then I took the quotes off and got hits for line pressure booster kits, but those are for automotive transmissions. Tried a few other searches, came up empty. Have you seen...

That's just good rust prevention! :D

It also does not make it a design flaw. Dealer prep problem?

    MX5000 completely dead...need help

Mechanical crimps are used in aerospace, are mil-spec in places where solder is prohibited due to reliable concerns, and are "preferred" over soldering for marine applications. Just like soldering, if it's done wrong, it will cause problems. But it's a lot easier to learn to crimp correctly...
