Early BX2200 with LA211 FEL - loader hoses messed up

The issue is the regenerative valve supplying unequal volumes of oil. That works for cylinders. Not for motors. Unsure why mine works, but it does. Maybe it's the cheap Chinese motor I used.

Early BX2200 with LA211 FEL - loader hoses messed up

Mine will work both directions on the dump/curl. The issue you are having is the "fast dump, regenerative" function. The valve combines some of the flow from one side of a cylinder to the other in an attempt to minimize air entering the cylinder when dumping. Mine is slower one direction than...

Value of used attachments when buying a used tractor?

I used to not think I would have much use for a box blade. Spent the first dozen years with my BX without one. Then I had a job that a box blade would work really good for so bought one. It has become the most used attachment I own for the BX. I guess most of the time it is just ballast but...

    Coolant in Fuel??

911 is for the "oh crap I'm gelled up". It's hard on fuel systems. Use that in a last resort type situation. The white bottle is what you use proactively to prevent the oh crap situation. I carry a bottle of 911 in the truck. It's been there for years and have never used it. I also carry a fuel...

    Front 3PT

Looks like a case of roll your own. Here is mine for a Kubota M7060

    Leaky backhoe, normal?

If there is no external oil leakage, it's the valve. Because of the displacement difference on each side of the piston, when the valve is not operated, the only way the cylinder can drift is leakage on the ground or past the spool. Could also drift if the valve isn't centering.

Front Mount Snow Blower For BX22

Hope it all works out for you. Just came in from blowing an hour ago. Only 4" or so but a little wind with it. Man I like driving forward. The heated cab is pretty nice too.

ZD21 Hydraulic Deck InOp and Won't Start With Key

Starting problem is likely a safety switch. These things must happen before it will start: Park brake set, steer levers all the way out against their stops, deck pto off, and you must be in the seat.

Front Mount Snow Blower For BX22

I remember looking at the Kubota quick hitch setup for ideas. Having the driveline components will be a huge help. The rest was pretty easy.

Front Mount Snow Blower For BX22

First off is does the blower have the driveshaft with it? Mine did so that was half the battle for driving it. Kubota uses .98"-10 spline shaft and yokes for those are hard to come by. I made a lift frame that had pivot holes in the bottom and a cylinder mount at the top for the blower. This I...

    Bison rear blade

I would assume it will have a ratcheting turnbuckle, so it would have to be hand cranked all the way up if you were to leave it on. To take the whole thing off you would pull the pin on the turnbuckle and on the boom where it mounts to the back of the blade and with the wheel on, wheel it away...

    Bison rear blade

You can, but it has to be raised all the way. Mine is hydraulic so it's easy. If it were manual, it would be a bit of a chore. I maintain about 3/4 mile of gravel that is 16 to 20' wide. I cut it and spread with the blade forward and the tail wheel is a big help. Then to finish it, I turn the...

    Bison rear blade

A tail wheel is very valuable addition to a blade. I made one for the Frontier blade and got the Bison with it. I just need to do some modification to it. It's like it was meant for a smaller blade. A little too short and the swivel at the wheels is not vertical when it's down. Works, but could...

    Bison rear blade

My only complaints about mine have to do with leaking hydraulic cylinders and the design of the tail wheel. I believe neither of those options you are getting. I bought it in 2011. It's beast at 1600 lbs. That weight doesn't include the tail wheel assembly. This is their heaviest duty model so...

    Bison rear blade

I have a Bison NVHL-300-XHD 10' blade and I can turn it around to back drag, so I would surely think they would have a 8' be able to. I had a Frontier 8' blade before this Bison and it would turn around too.

    Welding 1045 steel

You are correct that 1045 should be preheated. I'll bet very few would bother. Still a good idea to do you recommended procedure.

    Welding 1045 steel

I would caution that chain has a maximum feet per minute recommendation. You might want to check that out.

    Welding 1045 steel

Easily welded. That's what it made for. I'd question if chain is rated for that application.

    Front backhoe usefulness?

I have actually consider this too. I have seen two different styles of hoes. One is the hoe complete with boom and swing built in that you sit on, and the other that uses the skid steer boom and the skid steer to pivot. The second style wouldn't work for this. My concerns would also be the...
