Have to remove 3PH to use BH77 on L3901?

I agree with Ron L4760. I have to remove the 3ph on my L3560 for the BH92. Taking off and putting back on is a royal pain, but everything is in the way and needs to be totally removed. I've tried to figure a way to make it easier, but using Neverseize is all I came up with. Also, I made a...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I have been looking for a rear view mirror for the inside of my L3506 HSTC. Someone posted a question about if Kubota made a rear view mirror and someone posted a link to Amazon and some suction cup mirrors to stick on the windshield. I wanted something more solid and permanent. I found and...

    Ground squirrels!!!

I had a chipmunk problem, but I took a 5-gal bucket and filled it 1/3rd full and sprinkled sunflower seeds on the water (they float) and a stick for a ramp from the ground to the rim. They jump in to get the seeds and never come out.

    L6060 steering binding

I have a 2015 L3560HSTC and have complained about the steering kind of stuttering when I turn but it doesn't happen all the time. I keep checking the hydraulic fluid, but everything seems OK. The dealer said he couldn't find any problem. Standard answer from the dealer. Dealers don't like...

Interior rear view mirror - where to buy?

Hey, that looks interesting! I have had my L3569HSTC for 3 years and keep thinking about an inside rear view mirror. When I back up I use the two outside mirrors, but I keep looking up as I do in my truck for the rear view mirror. I'll have to check this out.

    Plowing gravel driveway

Thanks JMF78, that sounds pretty good. I may try something like that next season. I'm pretty sure we're done this year. I may even try to fabricate something or talk to my salesman at Quick Attach.

Fuel can spouts. I'm tired of breaking them

I bit the bullet and went on Northern Tool and bought a HMC fuel caddie. I got tired of spilling diesel all over me, the tractor, and the ground. Now I just put the hols in the fill spout and turn the crank. No more so called "California safety spouts" or 5 gal cans to deal with.

    Plowing gravel driveway

I'v had this problem for 26 years, my long gravel driveway with a steep curving hill when the ground thaws and it snows like it just did on April 1st. When I had my plow truck, that plow would dig in and now I use my Kubota with a plow and the same thing. The only way I can do my driveway is...

    4060 Roof

I looked into putting a radio into my L3560 and someone posted how to do it and gave great instructions and pics of the procedure. As far as I can remember there are a few outside and the inside ones are covered with plastic caps. Check out how to install a radio, it may still be posted.

    Idling vs. shutting down

Interesting conversation, the one thing that has not been mentioned is the newer tractors have the particulate filter that requires a regeneration when it hits 100%. Idling is discouraged due to build up of carbon in the filter causing frequent regeneration. I had 3 other tractors that I would...

Regen on a new L4060 HSTC

On my 3560, I have had it for just over 2 years and it has just gone thru its second regen. I pump up the throttle and take it out of auto-throttle and keep on working and it finishes regen. in about 10-15 min. It was a little challenging to remember to set the regen. button when I start the...

Harbor Freight Quick Hitch & Titan Heavy Duty Hitch

LMTractor Guy, I have had 4 tractors and used a couple of different QH's and never been able to use the hook. I have always used the adapter. It works great and just adjust the top link to compensate.

    Backhoe Removal Problem

The thing that gets me is my dealer used to be great. Always right there with an answer to fix my problem, right on top of things when I needed them and the quality of workmanship was great. Now I question if I can trust them any more. As I said earlier, loose bolts, I greased the BH...

    Backhoe Removal Problem

I have a L3560 HSTC with a BH-92 that I bought this spring. The dealer didn't put a long enough hose on the tractor to the backhoe so that I could pull away a little and remove the hoses. I was taught to use the bucket down pressure to relieve pressure on the pins, I stand and work the joy...

I used steel casters on the dolly I made for my BH-92, it's a little heavier than the BX backhoe.

    Backhoe dolly

Had to add a third pad to my backhoe dolly due to the hydraulics settling. Needed to add support for the pivot point, now all I have to do is put some sort of hitch on it so I can move it easier.

    Fuel Cans

I tried the replacement EZee spout set up from Tractor Supply and it worked great. It came with a large opening spout with a threaded mouth and a smaller opening screw on spout as well as caps for both and a vent you can put in by drilling a small hole and pushing it into the hole. It also...

    Backhoe dolly

Great Idea to add a trailer hitch to the dolly, I'll see if I can do something to mine, It's too heavy to move by hand, my BH92 must weigh about a ton.

    Backhoe dolly

I made my dolly out of wood, some 2X8 boards I had and used stove bolts to put them together and used 9-3" steel casters, 4 on the bucket support and 5 on the main body support. I used 1 1/2 X 1 1/2 Angle Iron I had. The overall length is 8' and the bucket support is 18" X 18" the main body...
