My L4240HSTC shows 35HP on the PTO. I do run a 90" that is 100# lighter than the LandPride you mention. This match-up works well. I believe a heavier deck would work on it as well. In the past 35 years I've run the current combo as well as 5 foot decks on tractors with 13.5 and 16 PTO HP...

My guess is also a weld to balance the impeller. It's at a good place (back of the blade) so nothing should affect it.

It helped me see the fluid after I sanded the metal dipstick to create a "grain".

Not understanding that because the FEL can be lowered just as slowly whether the engine is running or not. Just this week I had a couple hundred pound piece of table top on my forks and lowered it just fine. I did curl the forks a bit before shutting the engine off because level forks at 4' off...

Nice haul S-G-R! I'd appreciate more info on the fenders. If someone on this side of the border wants 'em, it becomes a DIY project. I'm guessing that round piece over the grease zerk is hollow and capped for access to the zerk?

Should have mentioned that when removing the FEL the very last thing I do is remove the hoses. This is with the engine off and the the FEL sitting free and cycling the joystick.

I always remove and install the FEL with the engine shut off. Implements on the 3PH get done with the engine running or stopped if they are not powered by the PTO. Any time the PTO is connected or disconnected the engine is stopped.
