    Need advice L3302 HST

My letter would have been more to the point, just stating what happened. Corporate isn't interested in your dreams. As mentioned, find out if the temp gauge is faulty and be a lot more demanding if it is.

    Kubota or other tractor recommendations

My L4240HSTC is a good match for the 7-1/2' RFM it uses. Has QA on the FEL. Have various attachments. Really like it. I used my other (smaller, open station) tractor the other day to blow leaves with its 60" RFM. As long as the wind was going in the right direction it was fun. However...

    2846A discharge chute rotate

What Dustball said. Test polarity. You can do this with your light. The colors were used for ID and probably won't match what you have. Assuming you have two wires that connect the chute. First, connect the light between the wires illustrated in red and black coming from the switch to the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I added wings to a set of blades. They've been balanced post-fabrication and do work like a vacuum. The deck makes a clean sweep for the width of the deck. Since building here in '90 different methods have been tried. Ran over (and over and over) them to mulch them up, handheld blowers...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

The poor Kubota had to sit and watch the little Ford do some Fall cleanup today. It was tempting to hook the 5' RFM to the Kubota but its been a long time since the Ford did much of anything. The 5' deck had to be the one because it's a side discharge. The RFM on the Kubota is rear discharge...

l2501 HST won't move forward or reverse

You got off easy. From personal experience, I know that can happen and I'm happy for you that it's resolved before you were as dumb as I was. As a new member here you may enjoy a repeat of my cranial flatulence. Reader's Digest version: Stopped tractor (Ford 1210) to go inside for a glass of...

    FDR2584 Finish Mower HP requirement

My L4240HSTC shows 35HP on the PTO. I do run a 90" that is 100# lighter than the LandPride you mention. This match-up works well. I believe a heavier deck would work on it as well. In the past 35 years I've run the current combo as well as 5 foot decks on tractors with 13.5 and 16 PTO HP...

    Snow blower question

My guess is also a weld to balance the impeller. It's at a good place (back of the blade) so nothing should affect it.

    How to measure fluid level

It helped me see the fluid after I sanded the metal dipstick to create a "grain".

Dropping an implement with engine off

Not understanding that because the FEL can be lowered just as slowly whether the engine is running or not. Just this week I had a couple hundred pound piece of table top on my forks and lowered it just fine. I did curl the forks a bit before shutting the engine off because level forks at 4' off...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Nice haul S-G-R! I'd appreciate more info on the fenders. If someone on this side of the border wants 'em, it becomes a DIY project. I'm guessing that round piece over the grease zerk is hollow and capped for access to the zerk?

Dropping an implement with engine off

Should have mentioned that when removing the FEL the very last thing I do is remove the hoses. This is with the engine off and the the FEL sitting free and cycling the joystick.

Dropping an implement with engine off

I always remove and install the FEL with the engine shut off. Implements on the 3PH get done with the engine running or stopped if they are not powered by the PTO. Any time the PTO is connected or disconnected the engine is stopped.

Had this with Stihl oil, but since the fix is so easy i will continue to use it: https://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/threads/stihl-kombi-lives.77019/
