    Actual BX 24 Operating Weight?

8x20 sounds good but 8x30 goose neck would really be nice.

    Actual BX 24 Operating Weight?

Keep in mind when you go to look at trailers that a 7000 lb rated trailer won't really haul that much weight. You have to factor in the weight of the trailer as well. A 16 ft double axle normally will weigh 2000 to 2500 lbs empty. Another words your BX would put it at above 2/3 capacity. I...

    L2900 tool storage

I mounted a small tool box to the right side fender. Also works nice for a arm rest.

    Greasing a woods Rotary cutter

This will fix what you right up. Works like a champ. If you can get a straight shot at the ball on the fitting this will grease it. It just slides straight on and then locks in place. I ordered mine from www.thetoolwarehouse.net for about $9.

    What kind of engine oil??

If my oil was dirty enough to need changing at 20 hrs I would be wanting to know what was wrong with my engine. At 20 hrs my oil still looks like it did when I poured it in.

    Throttle

I agree. PTO equipment is designed to operate at the rated RPM so they will work properly. If you run at a lower rpm you are not only lugging the tractor engine but also putting unwanted strain on the emplement as well. The main thing to remember no matter what the task at hand is not to lug the...

    B8200 stuck in 4x4

Since the front end is geared just a little higher than the rear is the 4WD is kind of in a bind a lot of the time. My tractor seems to come out of 4WD better if it is moving and I cut my wheels to the right. I never even try to take mine out with the wheels in a straight line. If it's to where...

    What kind of engine oil??

Amsoil Heavy Duty Diesel 5w30 for your Kubota. Amsoil Synthetic motorcycle oil 20w50 for your Harley. I run Amsoil in everything from my R/C cars to my M 9000. Two stroke, engine oil, trans fluid, trans/hyd oil, gear oil, gas treatment, spray lubricants and protectants, filters and grease. I...

Oil Leaking from Breather Hose on Valve Cover

The only place that can happen is where the engine drives the hyd pump. If the seal is bad it's possible for the fluid to transfer.

Oil Leaking from Breather Hose on Valve Cover

It's possible. If the engine is overheating it may be causing more than a normal amount of oil vapor to go to the breather and then when it cools done as it's coming out it will change back to a solid state (oil) and run out causing all your mess. You need a good clean radiator anyway so it...

Oil Leaking from Breather Hose on Valve Cover

Have you washed the radiator out good? Sometimes they are a real pain to get all the dirt out of them.

    Altnator out put

I think that Kytim is right. I think that a couple of lights would be fine. If you want to double check it before you mount them get a volt meter and check your battery with the engine off and no current being drawn from it so you will have a base line to go by. Crank the tractor and check it...

    Grader or Scraper for BX25

Thankyou handy, That is the one I was sitting in when I was on the phone with you yesterday. I really do love that tractor. It sure is a lot better in the field than my other one with no cab.

    3pt backhoe question

As long as you don't have any leaks I wouldn't worry about it. Like Eric said it's always much safer to lower everything to the ground anyway.

    Digging the pond

I never did understand why some people treated the MSHA man like the enemy. It never did make good sense to try and hide problem areas from them. If the company wouldn't allow us to fix the problem you better believe that I would point it out to inspector that was there. For some reason it...

    Grader or Scraper for BX25

Neat looking setup. I wonder how hard it would be on the 3pt? It is sort of like mine but all I have to do is pull mine and it supports it own weight. It doesn't like mud very well but in regular dirt it works like a champ.

    Digging the pond

Hello skeets, I have had the pleasure of dealing with a bunch of your Georgia MSHA brothers over the years. I bet you don't hear MSHA and pleasure used together very often but I always looked at it like this. You are just doing your job and if I am doing my job properly then you or me either...

    My Torment is OVER

That was lucky to have rain that close and you not get any. I bet It was close enough that you could smell it in the air. I ned a wind guard for my baler and so far haven't been able to find a old baler sitting around anywhere. My baler has the auto weive feature on it but it will only work...

    My Torment is OVER

Nice looking baler Mountaindoc, Yours was a Hesston, mine was a M&W. Every time I baled with it my hope was either to break down early enough to order parts before the dealer closed or to break late so I wouldn't feel to bad about having to quit early. One way or the other it was going to break...

    B5100e Diff Noise

I have been around several different Kubota tractors of varying sizes and they all sound different. I have never seen one that didn't make some sort of whining noise. My M doesn't whine to much but it has a rattle that about drove me crazy. Turned out to be the draw bar vibrating when nothing is...
