    For sale: Kubota D662 (sold D782) motors G1800 G1900 GR2100

I acquired a couple of G1800 and one GR2100 machines and am parting them out. I have pretty much everything at this point. The engines, all 3 cylinder: one D662 with only 500 hours ($900); one D662 with 1,200 hours ($750); and one D782 with 600 hours ($1,200). Each engine runs very well and...

Ah, I see. I'll send you a PM.

RC54-G20 Front Lever Link for G1800 Tractor

I have one if you still need it. However, if your machine has the fulcrum, you shouldn't need to change decks from an RC48 to an RC54. The same lever/fulcrum works for RC48, RC54, and RC60.

    RCK60B-22BX Gearbox oil seals

Use a three arm puller to get the pulley off. (Tip: put the blade bolt back in the end of the shaft to protect your threads when using the puller) Use a small screwdriver or pick to remove the old seal. I use a small screwdriver - hammer it in, pry up a little. Move sides and repeat until it...

    RCK60B-22BX Gearbox oil seals

Like RCW said, the excess grease from regular greasing can build up and make a mess. However, if you've already got the deck off and partially disassembled, I'd strongly encourage you to go ahead and change the two oil seals. At 1,000+ hours, it's not overkill at all. Both seals are probably...

Gearbox oil change on RCK54P23BX deck

I have a 54" deck also, but for a GR series. Just checked my manual and, like yours, it calls for .16 quarts. Since that's just 5 ounces, I can't bring myself to believe that's enough oil so I fill to the bottom of the check plug. If you read through the service manual there are enough...

    Lower Radiator Hose Heater

In case anyone is interested in the radiator hose vs block heater discussion. As discussed above, my machine won't accept a block heater so I installed a lower radiator hose heater. Saturday morning it was around 12-15 degrees. I turned on the heater for an hour or so and took a temperature...

Parting out complete, running, F2400 with D1105 engine

Jeffrey - sorry for the delay in responding. I was traveling and not on the site for a while. Yes, I do still have the engine, but it has been disassembled in advance of parting it out. Thanks. Delmar

    Lower Radiator Hose Heater

No, the block heater actually installs just fine in the front of the engine. I installed one and was very pleased...until I went to re-install the muffler! There isn't enough clearance. Again, though, the radiator heater works well. I don't think it's a matter of "needing" the heater. My...

    Lower Radiator Hose Heater

Hi StephenB. If you're talking about the 1880 listed on your profile, I do not believe a block heater will work for you. I had to go with the radiator hose heater on my 1860. Although I would have preferred a block heater, the radiator hose heater works very well. It's a pain to install the...

Help! RCK60-24B rebuild, something isn't adding up!

Hi Brewer. Not sure I can offer any real help, other than advice to trust the engineering. Those gearboxes are almost bulletproof. Every single failure I've ever seen was due to operator not noticing leaking oil seals; oil leaks out = friction and heat = broken and welded gears! Good luck...

48" BX Deck for Sale RCK48P-18BX

This deck was original to my BX1860 and is in almost perfect shape. It probably has fewer than 50 hours of use. Paint is very nice with only a few scratches on the side. Zero rust. Always stored indoors. Only problem is a cracked plastic discharge chute (repaired). The deck is...

    1992 G1900 starter wont turn

Hi, vinnyfish1. Good advice already offered. If it turns out not to be safety switches, you might have a problem with the key switch and/or wiring to the starter. G1800 and G1900 are notorious for this problem. You can install a "start switch" that operates independent of the key. Also...

    G1800, G1900, and F2400 parts for sale

An update: I've sold a few parts off the machines but most are still there. F2400 hydro, sheet metal, wire harness, wheels, and deck is gone. Engine is disassembled, but almost all parts still available. Almost all parts for G1900 and G1800 still there. Thanks. Delmar

    GF1800 Grass/Leaf Collection options

I have limited experience with the GF1800, but I have done some towing with one. If yours is 4WD I don't see why you couldn't use it for a Cyclone Rake type system. You might need to remove the deck and fab some front counter weight. (With deck and leaf collector that would be one looooong rig!)
