UDT oil for ISO 32 substitute in chipper

As I used Rotella T6 5w40 in our unfortunately long gone VW Golf TDI (that little turbo diesel had jump, and the car handled great!) and I still have 1/2 pail of it left. I am curious if this is a suitable engine oil for my B2650, now you mention your use of it for your tractors. Maybe another...

UDT oil for ISO 32 substitute in chipper

Indeed, unless there's clear information otherwise that the chipper mfg agrees to, I'll be using AW32 hydraulic oil. Not "pure" i.e. contains AntiWear additives (AW), but not tranny oil either. My main question for this forum is: Has anyone used their UDT, Super UDT, or Premium UDT in anything...

UDT oil for ISO 32 substitute in chipper

I'm looking into buying a Woodland Mills WC68 3-point wood chipper to use with my B2650. It has a self contained hydraulic in-feed system that will require that I acquire 5 gallons of ISO 32 hydraulic oil to fill the chipper's resevoir. My question is can I use the Kubota Premium UDT hydraulic...

    Trailer tips-driving, loading, and unloading

5000 lbs? Sounds high. My B2650 ROPS: 1800 lbs. BH77 backhoe: 900 lbs. LA534A: 800 lbs. TOTAL: 3500 lbs. I haul this rig on my 18' PJ trailer 7000 gvw (1800 lbs trailer weight, dual braked axles), runs beautifully behind my lowly '06 4x4 Tacoma. I don't put blocks under the trailer rear when...

How do you deal with snow?

B2650 ROPS with B2782B 63" front blower w/hydraulic chute, and Land Pride BB1560 box blade. Friggin' awesome. Watch for certain sized gravel stones in driveway, I'm going through auger shear bolts steady, until first passes firm up and smoothes the pit run gravel. Next year I'm putting...

10 acres - what would you get?

A B2650, FEL, Box Scraper, rotary cutter and/or finish mower? With not much snow the FEL and box scraper should take care of it, otherwise add snow blower? Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk

    B2650 Steering Column Boot fix?

And yes the throttle bar goes through the boot, and it's rather tricky to get the boot firmly back in place around the throttle bar - very tight! But it still comes loose every time I use it. Neil Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk

    B2650 Steering Column Boot fix?

I'll be seeing my Kubota dealer I bought the tractor from later today - snapped 3 more snowblower auger shear bolts yesterday doing a neighbor's gravel driveway -I think I found all the loose rocks finally - need more bolts now, will mention the loose boot and see if they have seen any others...

    B2650 Steering Column Boot fix?

Thanks for the responses, I guess my boot is one of those that refuses to stay put, a minor pita fixing it back in place every time I use the tractor. Could definitely be a better design imo, but some don't seem to have a problem with it, so wtf. It's just that rain, snow and dust are always...

    Trailering your tractor

I got a 7000gvw PJ trailer, dual braked axle with beaver tail. My B2650 with BH77 backhoe and L534A FEL weighs about 3500 lbs altogether, and the trailer weighs about 1800 lbs, so towing weight is about 5300 lbs. I back on to the trailer and put the loader down flat to the deck with lead edge...

    B2650 Steering Column Boot fix?

Does your steering boot have any clips or other visible fasteners that pin it in place? There's zero on mine, just some grooved slots on its lower perimeter that are supposed to hold it in place, and do not. Is your B2650 a 2017 model like mine? Thx. Neil

    B2650 Steering Column Boot fix?

Since I bought my new 2650 new a year ago (Dec. 2017), the steering column rubber boot just below the steering wheel ALWAYS comes loose while tractor is in use, and just dangles there in a useless manner. This seems to be a design oversight as any attempt to re-engage the boot will fail to hold...

    Smoothing Out Logging Ruts

My box BB1560 scraper has a front- and rear-facing scraper blade on it. Why not just use the rear blade wile driving in reverse to "bull doze" those ridge piles into the ruts first, then scrape in forward once the area is evened out a bit? I use my scraper backing up like a dozer to flatten...

    B2650 Snow Removal

My B2650 snow combo is a B2782B 63" front mount blower w/hydraulic chute rotation, and BB1560 60" box scraper in back. Last late winter I cleared a winter's worth of snow from a neighbor's 800ft gravel driveway, 10 ft wide, in about one hour. The snow was compacted and drifted up to about 2...
