There are new D905 radiators locally on Craigslist at a great deal. I have a B8200HSD with a D950 engine. Does it use the same or compatible radiator? I can't find a part number for the D905 which is apparently what's used in a B1700 tractor.

I found a Kubota 70mm Stroke (includes D950-B) service manual PDF for $10, on my computer I won't lose it. After seeing the gasket and the advice I wasn't too worried, but FWIW it says about 6 lb-ft for the head cover nuts, so not much. And here is the procedure for setting the valve clearance:

You could have a bad sensor, bad wiring (the light is on by default I believe, you need sufficient oil pressure on a working sensor to turn it off), or you could actually have low oil pressure in which case you don't want to be running the tractor. Low pressure could be due to a freeze plug...

Stubbyie, I'm fairly certain that the guard can't be removed intact without first separating the two halves of the shaft. What they did manage to do was release the bell from one end that covers the yoke so it could be slid a little bit away from the end of the shaft.
