Snowblower Front mount or rear PTO - Thoughts?

I recently purchased a B2650 with cab. I got the 63" front snowblower with hydraulic rotation and deflector. in hind sight I would probably select(and may do it myself still) electric deflector and rotation. Reason is less use of the hydraulics all at the same time. Never considered rear, as...

B2650 cab joystick hits steering wheel

Well, this made no difference in the distance between the joystick and the steering wheel. I still hit the wheel with the stick when I move the stick left. Hurts sometimes.

B2650 cab joystick hits steering wheel

Snug. It threads into the block, no nut on the back. Threads on that are messed up!!! Most likely from using it without the nut on. I threw on a couple washers for now. I'll get a new part and nut and replace it. Probably use some blue thread lock, too.

B2650 cab joystick hits steering wheel

The nut has a captured washer, still not tight. I cannot find a breakdown or photo of this, even in the shop manual. Went onto Messick's site and found this. Looks like just the nut/washer I have is all there is. https://parts.kubotaofomaha.com/kubota-ball-link-32530-41520/ This link seems...

B2650 cab joystick hits steering wheel

Here is what I found today, a missing nut. I had found a nut on the floor a few weeks back, but did not find its home. Now I have. The nut runs out of threads before it pulls the actuator shaft tight to the bracket. I don't know if there is something else missing or it is supposed to be that...

    B2560 cab work light replacement

Here is what I did. Work in progress, so the wires are still long. This is basically how the finished wiring will look though.

B2650 cab joystick hits steering wheel

I have noticed the same thing with using my snowblower. Left on the stick hits the wheel and the 3rd function buttons, too. I have learned to feel it and move it without hitting the wheel. I will look into the ability to tighten or adjust it.

Rear Work Light Connectors on B2650HSDC

I cut both the front and back off. Then I used the male and female blade connectors. I made them interchangeable and polarity specific. Then heat shrink on all connections. I can interchange lights, say one goes out and I need to finish before I get the replacement. I can easily change lights...

    B2782A front snowblower shaft question

I thought about doing that, too. I guess I will see what it's like after a couple other times.

    B2782A front snowblower shaft question

Well, nothing to connect my chain to. Apparently it is to support the drive shaft when not on the tractor, see other posts. As for the cover, no screw heads. I have seen the youtube videos with that type and mine is definitely different.

    B2782A front snowblower shaft question

I found that in the manual, thanks. It is brief, with one more reference to it later in the manual. While it does state it is a drive shaft support chain, it says nothing more. I guess one has to "read" into it.

    B2782A front snowblower shaft question

I was greasing my snowblower and came to the front u-joint, just behind the snowblower itself, on the short/half shaft. On this shaft is a plastic cover. 1) There is a chain that is supposed to attach to the plastic to keep it from rotating. It is permanently attached to the metal of the...

    B2650 using SnowBlower Black Smoke!!

As the OP posted, the 3350(same manual for the 2650) specifically states to remove a piece(I don't recall what) when using a front snowblower and/or operating in snow or icy conditions. When I looked at the photos, there was little difference between the two tractors components. I am thinking...

    DIY Snowblower Chute Rotator

I have a Bercomac on my garden tractor. This was not my primary snow removal device, but I found out a blower was the best for my situation. This was what I went with to get me through. Bercomac sells a kit for the deflector and rotation. It is basically a couple window motors with the wiring...

I realize this is an old thread and nobody responded then, but maybe somone has done something since. I am interested in doing this.

Steering Wheel Center is Off Center

I just got my tractor and wheel spinner and noticed this as well. If you are OCD this can drive you nuts, literally!!! Now I know it's out of my control and hopefully I can let it go.

    B2650 cab dome light operation

Factory installed dome light not much different than yours. It has on/off manual switch, not door activated like a vehicle. There is a middle position that COULD be wired to work off a self installed door switch(es).

Cab or No Cab... That is the Question

I just bought a B2650 with cab, mostly for snow/cold. I was using my riding mower with Bercomac snowblower, it was not initially my snow removal so there were problems. Bought a $400 vinyl winter cab and it made a difference, no snow blowing back at me and I was dry. No heat in it so still had...

    which mfr for grapple?

EA grapple has 2 pistons, at least the 55". Don't really see any operational difference between the LP and EA.

    which mfr for grapple?

Looking for attachments for my B2650 with cab. At this point I am looking at a grapple, rear blade(other post on this already) and maybe a spreader(for sand in the winter mostly) and pine needle rake. Everything attachments seems to be heavily represented on youtube and possibly the same mfr...
