    belt twisted

My RFM will do that if the belt gets too worn. I think the internal cords break and weaken the belt. A new belt always fixes it. However as others have said, check all the pulleys for damage (sharp edges, dents in the rim, out-of-round) and spindles (loose or noisy bearings) while you're in...

    Lets talk "3D printers"

I have a Creality Ender 3 V2. V3 is the current version, available for around $220. For what I do - you can see some of my stuff here - it's everything I need. About the largest stuff I print is parts for 1:25 scale models. Pros: Inexpensive, good print quality with PLA filament, beaucoup...

    Lets talk "3D printers"

You can get a LOT of printer for that kind of cabbage. There are two basic kinds: Filament and Resin. Filament printers are cheaper both to buy and to operate and are quite versatile with good print quality. There are various sorts of filament depending on how you plan to use what you print...

Music While Working on your Tractor

Before I gave up riding last year, I wore earplugs under my helmet because the wind noise was bothersome. (I've never liked windshields on bikes...) My point was that when I listen to music, I'm concentrating on the music rather than what's going on around me and that's double-plus ungood in...

Music While Working on your Tractor

Before my ears gave up on me, I did listen to a wide range of music: Some country, a lot of 70's R&R, quite a bit of classical. However, when I'm listening to music, that's ALL I'm doing, other than maybe once in a while when on a long road trip. Having background noise while working has...

    hello

The trick is to put the tractor end of the top link in first. Lift the hitch enough to get the pin in, stow the top link in the provided hook and THEN lower the arms to attach to the implement.

B2650 hydro pedal creeps out of neutral

Hi, George. It's been a long time since I fooled with it so I'm going from memory, but I don't think it's intended to be adjustable. Two notes: 1. After having had to replace the $45 safety switch several times due to it shorting out and blowing fuses, (safety nazis look away...) I removed...

Check out these old Kubota's doing some crazy stuff

"Power trailers" were pretty common around here in the 70's, usually made from a pickup frame and rear end. No brakes that I'm aware of tho.

My "new" shop is all LED, most of my basement -especially the work areas- is LED and my woodworking bay in the garage is LED. I will eventually replace the fluorescents in the maintenance bay with LED. I thought moving up from incandescent to low-temp fluorescent was a big improvement. LED...
