    Post hole digger for BX

I just looked at the Landpride PD10 and it should work just fine behind you're BX. Landpride makes alot of their attachments with Kubota tractors in mind. I have a B6100 and have used a normal size post hole digger behind mine several times with no problem. A few manufacturers make different...

    How popular are sub-compacts???

Oh and I just thought about this. I have been back and forth for a while about selling it as a package deal with 4 attachments to go along with it. I have a grading box, grader blade, finishing mower and aerator all 4 foot in size. But what I cant decide to do is let all the toys go with the...

    How popular are sub-compacts???

Wow thats just crazy how that old tractor ended up. Kind of gives me a thought, perhaps I can talk to the dealer and see if they would be willing to do a consignment for me. Or is that even worth while thinking about. I figure the dealers are looking at the all mighty dollar and would much...

    best implement for road maintenance

I'd purchase a Harley power rake if I had a few extra thousand laying around. You should be able to handle a 6ft power rake just fine on the B7800. I've rented a 5ft rake and worked like a champ behind my B6100. I believe a power rake coast around 5 to 6 thousand dollars new, but renting one...

    How popular are sub-compacts???

Im built like you are 6ft4 and 282, problem is my B6100 is a gear transmission always haveing to work both legs all the time, I need to build a bracket for my seat and get it higher in the air and create me some legroom.

    4 wheel drive or not?

My thinking is like 4 wheel drive on a vehicle. You have 4hi and 4lo and each one is suited for a certain speed. I would assume you'd have to run a tractor in a lower range as to not destroy the front axle. I have never owned a tractor that has the luxury of 4 wheel drive, and as of yet never...

    l3400 snow plow

I have seen the local VDOT around here use Meyers snow plows on the front of their tractors and it looks like DOT monuted the plow under the tractor in the same fashion a midmount mower would be hooked up. Just be careful on the front, a snow plow will trash the front end of a pickup truck...

    4 wheel drive or not?

I've been sort of confused for years about FWD on tractors. I hear all the time that with 4 wheel drive the tractor has a greater draw bar horsepower and can pull down a house, but over use of the 4 wheel drive can break the front axle in half. A few years ago I used to drive trucks for a local...

    L4200, what's it weigh ?

Arky, I have a similar trailer to yours, 6x16 rated for 7000 pounds and I've hauled about the same weight as a L4200 with no problem. I even managed to stuff my ex-girlfriend's Chevy Suburban 4x4 on my trailer when I wrecked it. I only have a Ford F150 to pull with. But I am a nut and I am used...

    Deck Matting

Kinda why I'm glad I have an older model that has the old school steel floor with those raised metal divots. I dare say if I ever get the luxury of owning a new Kubota I'd probably take the floor off and make a pair of the old school steel floorboards.

    newbie ? scraper blade

A 6' blade might be a tad bit to large for the B7800. Due to the fact the tractor will walk sideways while plowing in a froward direction have the blade on an angle. Might want to consider a 5ft. Either blade you mentioned will work fine, my thing is I don't spend a whole lot of money on...

    Grapple blade?

Sounds like the same concept as a 4in1 bucket.

    Deck Matting

You could try traction tape on the cheap or go to the auto parts store and but a gallon of roll on bedliner coating. Its similar to a spray on truck bed liner like what LineX makes just in a do it yourself version. It ususal has some grit to it when it dry's.

    Plowing snow with the L3010

This is why I love a gear tractor, I never loose power. Its just one big gear box. My own is a B6100 I use will plow up will without a problem. My dad has an L275 with a FEL and 6ft blade and he can run hills without a problem either. Oh and the tractor walking sideways while plowing snow is...

    Snow managment; Tractor vs. ATV?

Use Pam cooking spray and coat the FEL bucket or blade and nothing sticks to it. Its a cheap lubricant. I use both the loader and blade. Loader is nice to have to pile snow up out of the way with. A tractor has alot more weight then any atv will and if you ballist the tires makes all the...
