Glad that was an easy fix. But @North Idaho Wolfman is right running in high gear at 1500 rpm while also mowing is putting serious strain on everything and asking for hydrostat problems. Run at pto speed especially when mowing. Thats what they are designed to do
Post a pic of your serial number so @North Idaho Wolfman can look it up. It wouldn't be a 1996 if its old style. Do the front rims have 4 lug nuts or 6? Serial number is also stamped in the tunnel by your foot
If you managed to break the pto cover but not the case your insanely lucky. Haven't seen one yet that didn't have damage to the transmission case as well. Ill also say this you have to tear down and get the chunks out for many reasons. The pieces will clog up filters and suction screen, will...
Undo the carrier bearing and the shaft should slide off the output shaft of the transmission. But ive taken many transmissions out and they are all rusted on there. Nothing holding the coupler on there besides rust. Penetrating oil will help but its just a pain. And no good way to get leverage...
In each end of the front axle case there are 2 orings (3 and 20 on diagram) and a bushing in between them (2 on diagram). You may or may not need to replace the bushings depending on how much wear there is on them and the pin. Bad part is you have to drop the frame to get the pin out. If your...
Most common cause is pto shafts get shoved up into the housing. Pto shafts too long is most common but have heard other reasons like one of the lower arm pins came out and disconnected from the implement.
Haven't had anyone ask me that question before. Small bore and short stroke so really won't make much difference but down there will be little to no fluid in the cylinder. Head bolts are fine to reuse as long as they are in good shape.
Rear would be fine. Fronts however on the b2150 use the old style 6 bolt rim and 3300 uses new style 6 bolt rim. Bolt pattern is slightly different. And as others have said the fronts are smaller diameter on the 2150 so ratio would not be correct
Most likely a safety switch. Seat is common. But also make sure pto is disengaged. While holding key in start position wiggle pto lever and gear selection lever and hydro pedal see if anything changes
