    Pretty much dead center of it here. Party is already planned, eclipse glasses already bought, food prepared and in freezer, booze/ice/mixers stocked. Even if it's cloudy or raining, we're gonna have a good time.

    Don't get stuck on "ceramic washers." As Dave said in his first post in this thread, the washers just need to be nonconductive like micarta, G-10, thick plastic, etc.

    54 inch Deck on BX 23XX Anyone??

    I have the 54" deck w/ mulching kit and Gator blades on my 2370. Cuts fine as far as I'm concerned. You're gonna cut on the tire treads with a 60" deck, too. Mowing while the grass is damp is fine for me. Haven't tried mowing wet grass. Sorry, no pics.

    BX questions

    I've got a BX 2370, excellent condition, 50 hours, under warranty till mid September, FEL and 54" MMM with mulching kit. I'll let it go for 12K. C'mon down and get it!

    I need to set up the trail cam

    I always enjoy seeing deer, any deer, in the back yard, but seeing the next generation is always very gratifying. One of three fawns in the back yard yesterday. I keep a trail cam set up back there year round.

    Looks like a broken ground wire to me. If you have no ground you have no path for electricity to flow.

    +1 to what D2Cat said, but I'd also suggest a portable air tank and a battery operated air compressor like you'd plug into your cigarette lighter/power point. It'd take awhile to fill the portable tank and cost a few bucks, but I think it would be worth it in your situation. Beats the hell out...

    What engine RPM are you engaging the PTO at? I engage my PTO at idle speed.
