    Interesting dismount

Ahh, tractor dismounts. I was fencing with my 8N, went to get off, hammer on my overalls caught on the hydraulic controls so my step was awkward to say the least. In slow motion I saw my ankle roll more than I thought possible. No break but a rainbow of colors over the next few weeks and...

    Rehomeing a Black Lab

One of my pet peaves is someone not being responsible for their animals. You guys are saints for taking the time and effort to give this dog a good life. They don't ask to be "owned" so it is up to us to do the right thing by them. Again bravo to you guys.

Been a very busy summer here is one of my latest mods on B2650 w/Cab

Interesting 3 switch set up. Are they left on, right on and both on? Did you use the existing wiring harness/connector?

    Ssqa

I guess if anything was screwed up it would be obvious, the metal parts seem to be tight to each other and the levers locked. When the guy delivered it we had a bit of an issue changing FEL and blade but it was obvious, the levers did not match up and would not lock. I thought the pins went in...

    Ssqa

I have been practicing changing from FEL to snow blade. How do you know if it is on completely? It seems like the pin does not go into the slot a long way but the cam mechanism locks. Is there any way to screw this up or if its in its in?

    Thanks

Just wanted to say thanks to all the forum folks that answered newbie questions and made suggestions. When you buy a $$$$$ new tractor, new brand (Kubota) with new technology and even a different system (diesel as opposed to gas) it is intimidating and you don't want to screw up your investment...

    Battery Maintenance

Today I wired in the pig tail, it was not long enough so I added part of an old power cord I had laying around, only 16 gauge but should be okay with my maintainers, the biggest one is 1.5 amps and the one I will be using is the 900 most of the time. I could go with a larger gauge cable. Just...

    Guns and toolboxes

With all the suggestions and rummaging around in my junk drawers I came up with this. The little brown bag hanging is for spare ammo, 22LR and 22 snake shot.

    Battery Maintenance

This is my first diesel and from what I understand a strong battery is essential because the starting is a whole different animal than gas engines. I keep my tractor in the barn with my ATVs. The ATVs are set up with quick connects to the batteries and I alternate plugging them in to my YUSA...

    engineer mess ups

They definitely got it backwards. How about Kubota Orange seats and a black dip stick? In fact they should market orange seat covers, another revenue stream, I am a marketing genius, lol.

    Welded Hooks

I am looking for something to lift/pull/play with, to test them. Highly recommend the anchor hook as you suggested, and the one from Ken really seems like a good size, not too big and not too small, and great quality. Really appreciate everyone's input and Ken's quick, quality service.

    Guns and toolboxes

Like I said I will probably order a few of those magnets the next time I order from Amazon. In the meantime I found a couple of pieces of stretch fabric with Velcro, from some long forgotten athletic activity, and modified them to secure the holster to the seat arm. I just leave the holster...

To Buy or Not to Buy?

I had 8Ns for over 30 years and kept them running and used them for all kinds of projects, maintenance, etc. Got older, bad winter and decided it was time to retire the Ns and go for an upgrade. Did my research and decided on the B2650HSDC; no DPF, comparable size as the Ns, plenty of power for...

Suggestions on getting old brush hog going.

Disappointed!!! Saw the title that was truncated "Suggestions on getting old" so I clicked on it thinking someone had found the answer but it was about a brush hog. Oh well guess I will keep looking, lol.

    B2650 Oil Drain plug size

When you find out let the rest of us know and also what brand/type of plug you use to replace the OEM plug. Good idea.

    Battery charging/maintaining

I was thinking of putting a pig tail on my battery to make it easy to charge. I have several maintenance type chargers, plug in and solar. When I was looking at the pig tails I noticed that they are different polarities. The plug in battery tenders don't care about polarity, they identify it and...

Hi All new here B2650 owner with some extras

Do you have hooks on your bucket? If not you may want to consider that. Look through the Fabrication section to get some ideas. The anchor hook in the middle was a suggestion from a forum member that I had not thought about and mine turned out really good. I got my materials from another forum...

    Welded Hooks

Dealer did not have Kubota Orange but had Kimball Midwest and said it was a good match so I took their word for it since it is 50 miles from my place. As you can see from the pics it is a great match and is supposed to be heavy duty, have never heard of that brand. Covered very nice, I put two...

    Welded Hooks

I was at an auto parts store yesterday and they had about a dozen primers to choose from. I got one of them, figured if it was for autos it would work for my loader. May run up tomorrow and visit the dealer to get paint, that should give the primer plenty of time to set up and dry. My last 8N is...
