    Added brush guard to M7060

If you can zoom in on the bolt on the side of the guard you can see where houser52 welded the grill to the outside brace and stopped at this point. Then, you can see the grill welded to the inside brace. The grill welded to the inside brace is overlapped by the grill on the outside brace. When...

    Brush guard

Used Old and Tired’s advice and used a strap on the FEL to support weight of grill while removing it earlier today. FYI - I have braces to lock FEL in upright position so it can’t fall or bleed off while working under it. Worked great. My neighbor, who welds, want to do it so I will be letting...

Thanks for the responses on the reverse light switch and set up.

    ROPS lights

With the 3 light set, I assume your set up is 2 facing forward and 1 rear. Are they all on at once or is the rear on a separate switch setting?

    Brush guard

Old and Tired thanks for that added piece of information. Is there any particular thickness of expanded metal I should use?

    Quick Hitch Question

What i7win7 said. I had the same issue with a disk harrow I had put similar cat bushings on. QH engaged just fine but when I went to drop it off it wouldn’t let go. Messed around and fought and fought. Daughter walked up said it looks like the top hook is tight. I twisted the top hitch link...

    Brush guard

Nicfin36 thanks for the confirmation! That will make it a simpler off/on as no need to get a wrench on the back nut. I like Old and Tired’s basket idea, too!

    Steering Wheel

Well, I learned something about my steering. Thanks all!

    Brush guard

I am looking to do the same on my L2501. Well, maybe not the face. My tractor is 120 miles away and I didn‘t get a chance to look close (used a mirror instead of climbing under). For the bolts holding the grill frame to the tractor frame are the nuts welded to the back plate? In the mirror it...

    Steering Wheel

I have a L2501. I know the steering wheel location can “float”. Like smittydog27, my suicide knob is almost always at or near the 7o’clock position - where I placed it

    A little farm help!

I know nothing about goats but he did manage to get the bucket in the building without hitting the sidewalls. Maybe he‘s a keeper.

The socket size for front axle pivot vent plug on a Kubota L2501 4x4 HST is 9/32 square dive socket

Most, if not all, bolts, etc. on a Kubota are metric. That plug is a 7mm.

    Bafoon......Me that is!

Well, I didn’t lose a phone but I was mowing underbrush on a wooded trail. My L2501 was only a few months old. At one point looked back and saw a piece of black plastic between the shredded brush. figured it was just old trash. Finished and shut down the tractor. As I got off I looked down to...

    L2501HST 50Hr Hydraulic Fluid Change?

I changed it on my L2501 HST at the 50 hour service (49.6 actually). A good side effect, it dampened the engine whine like some others on this forum have said it would. It used to be loud in High (M and L, too) running between fields but now it is only noticeable when you first start rolling at...

New kubota l2501 delivered with milky transmission fluid

Looks normal as that’s how mine looked, and looks, before and after I changed the fluid at 50 hours - yes, I know it’s not called for. When the fluid is level in the glass the disk behind the fluid will be a definite white. The disk is giving you the impression it looks milky.

    Fuel Qty issue

Did you purchase new? If so, did the dealer fill it up? Did you refill it to see just how many gallons you actually put in? If not, how do you know it is less than half a tank? I have the same model tractor. Got it a year ago this past April. It would take more than 3 hours of run time to...

    Diesel Treatment/Algaecide Recommendations

I use the Power Service gray bottle and the Bio Kleen at each fill up. Doesn’t get cold enough down here that I feel the need for the white bottle - yet.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

May not sound major to some of your projects listed here but ... After a month or so of searching I finally found where the cotter pin goes on my L2501 that I found on my right floorboard. It holds the pin that the seat rotates up and forward on. Been driving me nuts looking at all areas...
