    Creep

Yes, but the area that needs lubrication has no means of accepting it. Hence the need for something that creeps.

Rear blade shoes for next winter

Heres a little tip for plowing gravel drives... Unless the snow is so deep you cant drive through it... Pack the first couple of events down into the gravel. This will allow the gravel to freeze and then you can run your plow as normal. I usually only have to clean up a couple areas along the...

    Creep

Pull the plastic cover at your feet and youll find the hydro pedal linkage on the same side as the pedal. Whats happening is the shaft the linkage rotates on is binding. It needs to be lubricated. PB blaster seems to work, but it needs to be reapplied frequently. The best solution would be to...

    Kubota 84 month tractor loan

You are not required to take the Kubota Insurance, although it is better insurance. I have a rider on our homeowners policy that covers the original purchase value of the tractor and everything that came with it when it was purchased. This satisfies the insurance requirement.

Temporary power steering loss on nearly new L4060

Yes, acts like Ive got a bucket full of something heavy. Sometimes it gets 'notchy', other times it works perfectly. I generally try not to turn the wheel unless I'm moving anyway, so I haven't given it any consideration. Its still under warranty.

Temporary power steering loss on nearly new L4060

Huh, some things must not change. My new 4060 with just over 50 hours now has the same steering issue. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes it acts as if the power steering has gone out.

    M5660 Seat Suspension Upgrade

I came up with a workable solution in this thread for my 4060. http://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/threads/kubota-grand-l-60-series-seat-bottoms-out.43013/page-3#post-463394 Last couple posts, Willbeone came up with another solution.

    Rear Remotes

Remotes are not standard from the factory on the L4060. They are a dealer add item and the max number that can be added using the Kubota parts is 3. You would need a diverter valve inline somewhere to go beyond 3.

Evening Mike... I dont get around as much as I used to, sorry I missed your note. The 90 under the seat is a very tight fit. Its why I searched for the banjo fitting and it worked perfectly. I am in Grand Ledge, not too far away from sheepfarmer. I do love Dr.Pepper! Kris

    First regen at 16 hrs.

I misspoke.... I wasn't forced into a parked regen, I was simply parked while it regenned. If I happen to be using the tractor when it calls for a regen, Ill bump it up and keep going. My first one was a situation such as you described, I was at 99%, done for the day and didn't want to shut it...

    First regen at 16 hrs.

I had my first regen around 25 hours. I will likely be doing parked regens for the life of my tractor as I dont work it very hard. I really only needed this size tractor for lifting capacity. I'm coming up on 50 hours and the DPF meter is sitting at 93%.

    Considering a used/new Kubota L4060

I purchased my 4060 a couple months ago. Rops, R4 tires, loader with 72" bucket and 3000# forks, 3 rear remotes that I installed and a TnT kit and I was OTD just under $35,000.

Kubota Grand L 60 series seat bottoms out

Thats a good idea. I may try that if the balls fail. Ive probably got 15 hours on them so far and they are holding up fine.

    Woods GSS60P

My first thought is its because you're running down the center of your drive. There is normally a crown there and the plane will build a crown simply by the nature of the angle of the blades. Looks like what happening is material is building up in front of the first blade faster than it can...

    Woods GSS60P

Sounds like it’s doing what’s it’s supposed to. Keep going over it until you have a nice layer of the larger aggregate in the 57 sitting on top.

    Woods GSS60P

Depends on the size of aggregate in your drive. Conservatively, 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch for finish work. You want to be able to feather out your last pass otherwise you'll end up with a pile. If you have a hydraulic top link this is easy to do. If you dont, youll have to accomplish that feathering...

    Woods GSS60P

Drop it and drag. You want the shoes to ride on the ground but not have the front corners gouge in. Also, depending on the condition of your driveway, you may need to adjust the cutting edges for a deeper cut until you get some of the larger aggregate worked up. Once you have decent material to...
