Nice!!! Love seeing the oldies brought into service. Along with the MX5400 I have a Ford 860 which has done an amazing amount of work.

On the MX5400 you can stand up without the tractor dying. If you step on the treadle pedal to go forward or reverse without being in the seat the tractor will die.

I upgraded from a Ford 860 to the MX5400. I have to say while on the 860 it is nice to be able to alternate between standing and sitting while brush hogging. Dangerous yes, stupid probably, but sure gives the back a break. I don’t know if it’s all me being a dumb*** or just growing up in an era...

I may have missed it, but all I saw from WR Long was a 3rd function kit for the loader. I am waiting on 3 rear remote lever kits. I have seen aftermarket rear remote kits but I prefer to have the levers for the rear remotes in the factory slots on the tractor.
