thinking of buying a b2650..is it the right move?

Congratulations on your new tractor. I think you made a wise choice selecting a B series Kubota. I've had my B7800 since 2005 and it's always performed flawlessly. Along with loaded rear tires for your B2650, are you also adding wheel weights ? From your photo, I noticed what appears to be...

thinking of buying a 3 point snow thrower

Here is a link to a Kubota BL2664 Rear Mount snow blower(looks like old inventory) that I believe to be manufactured by RAD. http://www.kubotaofsaskatoon.com/new_vehicle_detail.asp?veh=341420&CatDesc=Snowblower%20Implements Not sure if Kubota still offers these BL2664 snowblowers.

thinking of buying a 3 point snow thrower

Yes I agree about determining the degree angle of the drive shaft would be a more useful way to determine what will work or not. Unfortunately I sold the Puma 64 snow blower about 4 years ago and did not measure the driveshaft angle. It's regrettable the snow blower manufacturer did not foresee...

thinking of buying a 3 point snow thrower

It appears the SBT 064 has a 20" diameter impeller which is the same diameter impeller as my Puma-64 had. It's very possible you could encounter the same issue with the SBT 064 and your B7800 as I did with my Puma-64 and B7800 tractor. In an earlier post on the thread, I mentioned having to...

thinking of buying a 3 point snow thrower

Over a 12 year period I've used two different 64" 3 point snow blowers on my B7800. The first one was a Puma-64 (64" wide made by Pronovost) and I used it for 8 years. When I initially got the Puma one problem I had was the snow blower's drive shaft universal joints would go beyond their travel...

b2650 Too much tractor for my needs?

I've had a B7800 for 12 years with absolutely no problems. I like the Kubota B series and the B2650 would probably work out okay for you, but have you considered the L2501 ? The L2501 does not have the mid PTO so you couldn't use a MMM, but if you don't mind a RM mower, the L2501 might be a...

Mid Mount Mower or 3 point finish mower

I use a rear mount rear discharge mower on my Kubota B7800 for open hilly areas (an old pasture). It never lacks in power even on the hills, but I occasionally need to use 4wd on the hills if the grass is damp. My B7800 has R4 tires and when in 4wd the front tires can tear the sod when...

First Tractor Advice: B2601 or B2650

If I were to perform any logging operations with my Kubota compact tractor I would invest in a 3 point logging winch. The winch would allow you to winch logs out of areas you may not want to put your tractor. Here is video about 3 point logging winches. There are other 3 point winch...

    Would I be best served with a B2301, or a Bx2370?

Earlier in this thread there was some mention that the BX2370 would be more maneuverable than the B2301. Is turning radius a good determination of how maneuverable one tractor is compared to another ? Looking at Kubota's spec sheet of the BX2370 and B2301 and comparing the turning radius of...

    Would I be best served with a B2301, or a Bx2370?

Not to recommend one over the other. The BX series use to and maybe still does have a vulnerability issue of the transmission cooling fan possibly being damaged if a stick or twig from underneath the tractor flies up and breaks off the cooling fan blades. May or may not be a concern in your...

    Buying a tractor?

I couldn't find any info on the Kubota US website but here is some BX80 series information on the (Canadian) Kubota website. https://kubota.ca/en/products/power-equipment/tractors/bx80 . .

    Tractor for mostly mowing?

I agree with 78vette If you're looking for a platform for mostly mowing the F series would be a better option than either the B or BX. You can get a snow blower or blade, they come in 2wd or 4wd and cabs are available too.

Bx2370 vs GR2120 for mowing hilly 5 acres

I have a previous post on this thread about a Husqvarna R322T AWD with a Combi 103 mowing deck, and it was just what I needed to mow some steep slopes on my lawn. It's hard to explain how well this machine can perform on sloped ground, so I've tried to find a video of the R322T mowing some...

Bx2370 vs GR2120 for mowing hilly 5 acres

Why are you considering upgrading from your GR2120 to a BX2370 ? Your nimbleness around objects is going to decrease greatly if you go from the GR to a BX. Could your L3940 with a rear finish mower be used to mow some of your hilly 5 acres ? Mikeske.. Makes a good point about weight and soft...

    GR2120 or G21

I've owned my Kubota B7800 since 2005 and it's been a great tractor. So when I was looking to replace my two Wheel Horse GTs, it seemed sensible to look at a Kubota product. I have some steep slopes to mow, that my Wheel Horse GTs had traction problems with, so the 4wd GR2120 looked like a good...

Advice about trading my 2920 for a 2650 Cab

IMO the B series Kubotas are a much better tractor than the BX series Kubotas. I'd keep your B2920 and get a cab for it. If you go with a BX, I would avoid the 50 series because of the abrupt stopping trouble they had with the transmission. That issue was fixed when the 60 series came out...
