L6060 Front Axle Oil

Hello all, could you say what oil i should buy for the L6060 front axle oil?

Same as the transmission SUDT2

Or in Canada it's called Premium UDT

i just use udt2 in mine. its a bit more expensuve but its not a lot and it means i dont have to keep yet another seperate fluid on hand

If you read your Owners Manual, it tells you what fluids to use in your tractor

My dealer always changed the front axel oil to a Kubota 80/90 weight gear oil when it was time to do the service on the axel.

That ( 80W-90 ) is what I have been using in both my tractors for about 7 years now.

My dealer recommended it so it must be a good way to go.

I use 80W-90 in my front axle. Cheaper than the UDT2 and it meets the requirements.

X2 on my side.
I had a small B26## years back that had the smallest of leaks from front axle.
Dealer actually told me to switch from Premium UDT to gear oil before even considering to addressing the leak. I owned the tractor for another 1,000 maybe even 2,000 more hours before it was sold and never leaked again while I owned it.
