thank you. I am trying to find the ground strap, cable, or flexible metal tape between the engine and the frame. Typically located at the starter, and even some models use a solid metal band from the starter bolt to a bolt on the frame. I believe my model does not have one. I am in the process of trouble shooting a cruise control fault. I get error code 83 and a CRUISE NG on the Intellipanel. And no cruise. I bench tested the cruise control sensor and it has an open circuit. I will buy a new sensor.

I don’t know where the factory one is, but if I were you, I would make one and install it, and see if the fault goes away.

I had an electrical problem on my truck and I fixed it by making a few grounding/bonding straps myself and stalling them at a various places from the body to the engine and trans and such.

I am not sure which one fixed it, but my problem went away…So even though I don’t know “for sure” where the factory one was located, I still called that a “win”.

Good luck (y)

I think you are hunting Unicorns. The engine is bolted directly to the frame and the frame is grounded at the (-) battery cable.

Exactly don’t waste your time looking for it just add one it’s not going to hurt anything I’ve had to do that on older vehicles especially Jeeps lots

Tractors are different than cars and trucks. Tractor engines are not mounted with rubber isolators like vehicles, because they are built directly bolted to the rest of the machine. Vehicles need braided ground straps because of the rubber mounts used.

There is no engine grounding strap and dont waste your time and money adding a strap. The engine is already grounded at multiple points.

Didn’t realize that there are no rubber mounts I know that guess been wrenching on cars to long, thinking about it you’re right but in either case it still would not hurt might be useless considering that though

Utterly useless. The weak point is the battery to frame connection.

Are you using the "force" to trouble shout it?
No where does it say that it's a grounding issue.
