Purchased the tractor 5 years ago with these tires. And have since tore them up with our Ozark limestone shredding the hell out of them. Below are photos.

I'm not sure what the stock tread depth looks like, obviously it looks like the fronts are worn heavily but the backs have plenty of life? Is it enough life to just get the Front set replaced? I can't tell if these is enough tread on the rear to not effect the 4wd gear ratio if we just change the fronts.

Regardless, we need to know what tires would be best for this rough terrain? I do a lot of heavy loader work and have to run 4wd constantly because of hills. The broken rocks here are like razorblades and when loading sometimes spinout which tears them up even more.

What is currently on there is:
Front: Option 2 10-16.5 R4 Titan Trac Loader
Rear: 17.5L-24 R4 Titan Industrial Contractor TL

Am I better off getting another set of the same? As these are only 6-ply, I was thinking something that is 10-12ply would help greatly in this situation?

Front right tire broke free going down a hill yesterday and had to use my Forks as skis to slide down to the bottom of the hill. Tire was shredded, so now I have no choice but to hurry up and grab some new ones.

Any advise is appreciated!
Thanks all!

No idea about the tires but just couldn’t resist posting this link to Rocky Top (where you must live).

Really nothing better than R4's for that situation.
Your just going to have to put it in the budget for replacements.

As far as going up in ply count, that won't help you one bit, in fact it will hurt you as it will make the tires stiffer.

How is the tread depth on the rears? Would I be able to get away with just getting a new set for the fronts?

That first picture tire looks like it is 25 years old with all the cracks in the rubber. Maybe find a brand that holds up better, (look for reviews of brands) but R4's are for your type of work.

Not sure where in MO you are.
Marshfield for tires and Springfield for foaming them.

I'm only 20 minutes south of springfield.

Where at in Marshfield for tires? I was going to order the Titan fronts online and just have BigO put them on the rims.

Also, other then your current set, have you foamed previous tires? I'm reading their a nightmare for the installer when you need to eventually change out the tires from wear.

I got a new set of front tires/rims. When I need another set I will cut the tires off and clean the rims myself of my original set.

Did the foam add a lot of weight to the tire?
i've worked with closed cell insulation foam, it's dense and hard but not heavy at all.

Thanks, i'll give Crawford a call today to see what they have.
