I've been trying to find AFTERMARKET cylinder seal kits for for my BH75 (Serial# 12168) backhoe attachment on my L3400.
The price the OEM wants for the seal kits is an absolute joke. I mean seriously, $200+ for seals? Even the companies that "discount' them to $100+ is still a ridiculous price IMO.

I was able to find aftermarket seals for the swing ($25 each) but none for the other cylinders. Here are the part number that I need. Has anyone sourced aftermarket, reasonably priced seal kits?

Boom 7k501-22300 (qty 1)
Dipper 7k501-32310 (qty 1)
Bucket 7k501-43300 (qty 1)
Stabilizers 7k501-52300 (qty 2)

Thanks in advance.

Go to a local hydraulic cylinder repair place they should be able match up the seals.

I was hoping to order online. It's 2+ hours to my nearest hydraulic shop and I would have to bring everything to them. So basically nearly a whole day would be shot.
Your other option is to measure them yourself and order from a seals part place. But you'll have to have them apart to measure. Part numbers won't do you any good.

I do have them all apart already. And I do have all the necessary measuring tools to measure them.

But again, I was just hoping that someone has already been through this expedition and found aftermarket seal kits online somewhere and could send me a link.

If I don't hear from anyone in a couple weeks I'll probably resort to measuring them.

I agree, $250+ for 1 set for a swing seals. CRAZY high. Someone has to know a online place that has aftermarket OEM type seals.

OK OP, two weeks is up. What have you done? Since you have the tools and the cylinders disassembled, I really don't see much involved in measuring a few grooves and selecting parts from an on-line catalog.

I am interested in what you decided.

So. I am still on my cruise until Saturday. Next week, I am going to town on Wed. I plan to bring the pistons and glands to the hydraulics place and see if they can source them. I have had good luck with them in the past making custom hydraulic stuff for me. This will be the first time I'll be utilizing them for any kind of a cylinder reseal or parts.
I will definitely post any part numbers or the specific sizes of each when they give them to me.

Sounds good. My hydraulic shop charges $100 each, and will usually do it in a couple of hours or less if I get there fairly early, since I'm from out of town (20 miles 🙂).
