A simple attachment for direct burial cable?

NO WAY would I ever direct bury a CAT5 cable.
3/4" pvc conduit is cheap insurance.

I've had one just under the grass for 20 years no issues yet. Cat5E cable is cheap only 0.06 a foot.

Can anyone suggest a simple Trencher that Fits 3 Point? The cable only needs to be just under the grass as it's a CAT5E about a 250 feet run.

There are a lot of rippers on amazon to pick, i can't weld so i half to buy something and it's not something that would get used hardly ever.

Welding is not a requirement. I helped a friend bury some wire for yard lighting at a hunt clubhouse. We used 1" sch 40 PVC pipe, heated it with a heat gun (rotating and moving the pipe as being heated) put a bend in the pipe, WIRED it to the subsoiler. Buried 200-250' of wire in short order.

Yep. and my grandpappy smoked 3 pack of smokes a day and lived to be 100....

But everyone makes their own decisions.

Sure, you can direct bury it... BUT if it ever does get damaged or fail, You will need to dig up the entire thing
with conduit you can simply pull it out and install a new one.....

I always put a couple extra "pulls" inside conduit... in case you want to add another cable(s) for other applications.

such as a security camera.... which also uses a Cat5/6 cable.

I used 1" black polypipe as a 'conduit' , ONE piece, smooth, easy to get 2 CAT5s through. I have CAT5+power(18ga red/blk) to greenhouse, +-125'.

So are you talking about plastic pipe like sprinkler tubing?
seems like that would work pretty good.....

It will not get damaged it's on my property and if it does so what? It's not life or deaf it's a camera cable that i spent 15 min installing and used $13 of cable.

yes, super cheap, comes in 300' rolls. if installed inside to inside building, no water gets in.

That is what I ended up doing recently. Rental was $230.00 a day.

Soil is hard red clay and Iron Ore. Still only took me 30 minutes to make a 100' run.

Rental company refunded me $50.00 upon return because it only took me a few hours total to go to town, trench and return.

Trencher was highly manuverable and allowed me to dig right up to
both the start and end points.

Trenched dirt was easy to backfill.

I hate you guys who can trench that fast! There are so many rocks and boulders in the soil where I am they won't even rent you a trencher!

My place is 99.9% sand so you can dig and trench as fast and as deep as you want.
But not all the property up here is like that, some places are so rocky that you can't do anything without blasting first.

That's how Spectrum burried my internet RG6 cable. They used a vibrating thingy that sunk it about 6 inches into the ground and left no mess. It took about 10 minutes to bury 150 ft of cable. I think there's a direct bury Cat 5 available also.
