Good day all
2014 BX25D wont shut off with key, lift the seat try to move wont shut off lift seat turn on PTO wont shut off. Had to stall it to get it turned off. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

I think the BX25D removes power from the fuel solenoid to shutdown. Check for voltage on both terminals to ground when it won't stop. If no voltage, your solenoid must be sticking. Try removing it. EDIT: Bad assumption, this machine has stop solenoid timer.

You have the WSM, in the electrical section there's a wiring diagram and a starting description. If you can't figure it out, print the diagram here.

Check electrical and mechanical operation of the fuel shut off solenoid.

Once had an acorn wedged in the fuel shut off mechanism of my B1750 preventing shut down.

Yup, the key (or a safety switch) triggers the Engine Shutdown Timer (like a relay) which kills the engine and fuel pump. If you turn the key from OFF to ON (not start) you should hear the fuel pump "ticking" away, then turn the key to OFF you should hear the timer relay click (loudly) and the fuel pump relay at the same time cuts out and the ticking stops, then 15 seconds or so the timer expires and you should hear the timer relay click again (but no fuel pump since the ignition key is in the OFF position).

If you need to remove the Engine Shutdown Timer there's a latch on the top that needs to be carefully pried up with a small screwdriver to remove the timer without breaking the top of the tab that retains it (not knowing this, I broke mine).

The WSM (aka service manual) will be of great assistance for this.
Check fuses, there is 2 that affect the solenoid operation.
The timer is energized for about 5 seconds when the key is shut off and signal power is removed from the timer.

In future pull the solenoid rod to shut off engine.

That brings up a good point: Kubota did not design a "Fail SAFE" situation (though it does match what I found when figuring out wiring for a temporary seat bypass switch).

No hate on my part, when I fail the situation usually isn't safe either!

Be sure to check ALL of the small fuses. Had same issue with old BX23. Turns out the fuse block was mislabeled so I missed the bad fuse because I only checked what I thought was that fuel stop solenoid circuit.

Update
Found a blown 10amp fuse replaced it, Dash lights etc come on when key is turned like normal turn key to start nothing no clicks no nothing. Progress at least oh yeah dash lights etc turn off when key turned to off. No click after I know this click not there.

OK, so I made a bad guess on the original problem. This one sounds like a bad ground connection somewhere. Possibly a bad keyswitch, but more likely a bad ground.
