I have a BX 2763A front snow blade on my BX1870-1. Does anyone know of a company that builds specific side extension wings for this blade. Have already contacted bxpanded and some others who deal in aftermarket Kubota attachments. Like to find wings specifically made for this blade before I attempt to purchase something and attempt to adapt it.

I used 10" wide baler belting bolted to both sides of my plow to widen each side by about 7 inches. It's sold by the foot for $9 at my local Fleet Farm.

Could you please post some pictures of your plow with the "wings"?

Kubota never made extensions for that blade.
I'm pretty sure no one else makes extensions for that blade.

How thick is the belt?

I wonder if TSC sells that stuff? I want to make "feet' for my BH77 but sourcing the "rubber pads" (at a reasonable cost) has proved problematic.

If there is a rock quarry anywhere local to you, you might ask them if they have any old conveyor belt.
they are constantly repairing or replacing sections..... and throwing a lot of it away in the dumpster.

I picked up a small roll, it's about 1" thick pure rubber. (no reinforcement belts)

At work we made pads from a TSC Cow Mat that we had bought for floor protection in an elevator during a project. They lasted just minutes. Not sure what else they sell, but I'd try making pads from pieces of a truck tire "alligator" if you can stop along the road to pick one up without getting hit:)

We used cast-off treads for making squeegee edges for rear scraper blades and they hold up very well.

I'll take a picture when it warms up.

Same concept as this except he used horse stall mat and put his behind the blade- https://www.mytractorforum.com/threads/diy-rubber-wings-for-54-blade.1212833/

Mine's baler belting (much thinner but very rigid) and I put mine in front of the blade. I did start with horse stall mat but after a few years, they ended up tearing where they meets the blade at the ground. I've had the baler belting on for about six years now and they're still holding up.

I had an old 6' blade on the 3point.. I built a wing out of expanded metal that would bolt to either end of the blade.. It wasn't perfect but good enough for what it was meant for..

Also what helped a lot was to bolt about a 6" wide piece of belting along the top of the blade that would be parallel to the ground.. It helped keep snow from spilling over the top of the blade..

Thank you all for your posts. I have ordered mental extension wings off Amazon that are for an ATV plow. They appear to extend the width some but also are curved in some to allow the blade to carry more snow when plowing straight. When blade is angled, should still allow snow to be cast off normally. Will see if I can make them work. If not, free returns.

Tanks again to all those who responded. I mounted side wings that I purchased from Amazon. Didn't actually follow the blade curve but think they will be OK. Maybe some of the aftermarket Kubota manufactures should look into providing such wings. Also added the rubber top flap which works great. Will paint the proper color when weather warms up. Interested to see how the wings work on clearing my driveway and parking areas better. NEED SNOW now!
