I have a 2014 Kubota m7060. Today while moving a brush pile, my loader lever just got stuck in the back left position (closest to your right thigh). I lowered the bucket down to push the pile and it wouldn’t go back up. The lever is stuck.

The control lever won’t move to any position. It’s like it’s locked or something. The front end loader has never been off and I’ve never had it on float mode. Wouldn’t know how to do that.

I’ll attach pics of the lever position and the front end loader position.

can you put a wrench on the spools sticking up and rotate each one a bit? Do not put channel locks or pliers on those spools. Use the wrench flats that are there. Could be one of those spools has a bit of dirt stuck in it.

Looks like the joystick lock may be engaged.

The back spool that’s the lowest in the pic is hard to turn. The front one and the other back spool that’s up are very easy to return.

Does this mean there’s dirt and debris stuck in it?

There are just two spools. The piece in the rear that does not turn is a solid pivot post.

The flat bar looks like a lock to me. See if you can slide/pull it out away from the spools.

I’ve tried to slide it back and forth or side to side. There appears to be two thin headed bolts holding it in place. You can see them in the pic I posted. I don’t want to force anything.

The lever comes out through the housing towards the operator. You should be able to move/adjust it to engage it so the loader valve can not move. I am not familiar with your tractor specifically, but you need to (without much force) be able to move that lever...and then you'll be back in business.

I am not at all famliar with the valve but i find it unlikrly the return springs on both spools jammed at the same time.

As I said I dm unfamiliar with the valve but my guess is the plate slides back amd forth underneath the thin heads of those "bolts" . I would suggest slipping a prybar or something similar undrr the bent down tab and using it to GENTLY pry outwards while jiggling the joystick.

A little closer up picture of the base of one of the spools and the plate might be helpful as well. Clean it off with some brake cleaner or similar solvent before taking the picture.

Here is a pic with one of those thin head bolts out.

The loader lock is not engaged if it was the latch would be in the slots.

Go to the valve itself and look at the actual spools where the cable connects.
See if anything looks out of place there.

If you see 3 control cables at the Loader valve, stop and tell me that.

Then pull the Hair pins (070) then the connecting pins (060)

Woah Nellie - cable controls and not spools!!!

Me thinks you are right - the problem is somewhere else.

I want him to go to the other end of the cables where they attach to the spools and look at that connection.

The fact that both are stuck make's me think there is a load leveler on it and that is the part that is gone out of whack!

It's controlled by a third cable and interacts with the spool side of things.

Oh I understand and totally agree.

The OP called them spools and silly me never bothered to look at a parts diagram.

It could be something as silly stupid as a stick stuck into where the cables meet the spools.
I've had some weird things like that happen to me.

The cables look good and there are no limbs or debris wedged anywhere near there. See pic.

Would low n the dipstick hydraulic fluid cause this? I am due to do my yearly maintenance at the end of the month so that didn’t add a little to bring it up to the mark on the dipstick.

It is really odd that both are stuck pulled????
Pull the pins and see if the spools move or if the cable moves.
Follow the cables back to the control looking for damage.
