Guess what? I was searching for some other L2500 parts on ebay and found these LED's which are supposed to be a direct fit (NO modification needed).... They also have LED's to fit the L175 and L185 as well as several others...

kayco53, Did you have any luck finding an conversion bulb? You and I should probably team up, otherwise it looks like we are on our own... L2500 seems to be the redheaded stepchild of Kubota...

Yes, location plays a big role in pricing, a $10k tractor in one state might only be worth $8k in another... (supply & demand rule the day).
