I got the grill guard painted and the expanded metal painted also. I think it is now done it's been quite a project and now I just have to wait for the snow.

On my B2620 it has the same exact style bracket as in your picture and the lever goes all the way down and the bracket just rotates to lock the lever in place. I know it was not the model you were asking about but my instructions say the same thing to have the lever in the down postion. Hope...

It is getting closer to being done. I just need to repair the grill guard where I had to cut it because I added thickness to the frame rails. I am going to weld a piece in it and then weld angle iron on the bottom of the bars and add one piece down lower and bend it the same contour of the outer...

Thanks for the comments. I got everything painted today now it just needs to dry. I bought the hose's and fittings yesterday so hopefully Saturday I will have it finished.

Just a little more to go. I need to do some more metal work, paint and then get the hose's made. The blue paint was just to keep it from rusting while I had other things to do.

It is a good idea but I wonder if extending the rear hitch so far back would cause you to get the ft. end light. If I was to build one I would make sure I did not hook up to anything very heavy.
