There’s a few things about the 2601 that irk me, the pedal is one. I put a block on my forward pedal and it’s less awkward to use. my Legs aren’t short at all, but the block helped my sore knee. It’s an inch and a half thick.

You may want to look at the mower‘s lift mechanism. I know on the B tractors it’s linked to the lift arm. So you can’t have them independent.

I’d buy that tractor. 400 hrs is nothing on those machines. I had a 7500 years ago and only sold it cuz I moved and didn't want to drag it 950 miles. I wouldn’t worry about parts for it at all. I have a lot of hours on three different Kubotas and never needed anything but filters etc.

Are you just using it for smoothing? Try taking the front blade off.

A 60” bucket full of whatever is gonna be a lot of weight off the front of that tractor. I have a 54 and have had the rear off the ground in the rough With a bucket full. I’m happy with the 54 on the 2601.

I had a similar issue. I had to take the wheel to Farmers co-op and get it remounted, cost me sixteen bucks. Unless there’s no puncture, you probably just let the pressure get to low. PITA cuz the weight of it.

Anybody ever spun their rim and had it not seal up after? I had too low pressure and towed up a knarly uphill, rim spun and its a loaded tire. I blew it up to 30 psi but it’s Got a pin hole leak On the bead. anybody ever get a spun bead to reseal?

IIWM, I’d be replacing the switches from Walmart with some other brand. Who knows what they are made out of. Maybe some mugugaipan.
