Pallet forks are one of the most usefull and versitile attachments you can have for a tractor and are my most used attachment out of all my attachments. Unless you are only using them for a specific task where the width doesn't need adjusting, I would not make them non adjustable.

I agree with buying a new engine for it as well, for all the reasons above, and also, why put unneeded wear and tear on an expensive tractor engine when you put it on a $300 throw away engine.

I have a L2501 and during general use like plowing snow, driveway maintenance and loader work I run the engine around 1800 RPM which seems to work fine. What rpms are theses tractors designed to operate at that is safe on the engine and gives peak performance
