    One thing to know is that the mower has 2 inline fuel filters. One is visable and the other sort of behind the battery box and a pain to change. The painful one is closest to the fuel tank, therefore, the first to clog. This might not be your problem but is an inexpensive thing to try.

    I have always used oem but i'm sure an aftermarket would do as well. The oem isn't terribly expensive. you might want to try the JB Weld thing first.

    Stalling B2601

    Does it ,by chance, have a second fuel filter that you haven't found? Another easy thing to try is to open your fuel cap to see if it's vent is clogged. that's a long shot because it takes longer that 15 seconds as a rule. Another possibility is gasoline in the fuel.

    The mower is 9 years old and the gauges are electronic. Both test bad on the machine and bench test. I was wondering what could cause them both to fail at seemingly the same time. neither keeps me from using the mower but they are a good thing to have.

    The temp and fuel gauges on my ZD 323 test bad according to the wsm. My question is, what could have caused both gauges to go at once? This is a 400 hour machine. It has been jump started a few times and I have had to jump across the starter terminals a few times due to non start.

    Jeremy, It's hard to understand your question. You say "when you pull the safety lever up, it will stop". My question is, what is 'It'? Does the engine stop? Do the hydraulics stop?

    l4600 steering cylinder.

    My son used a socket the right size and a sledge hammer. It popped right out. After seeing how the thing is built, I felt kinda dumb. I'm assuming all that need to be replaced is the seal in the center piston. I hope so because the seals are higher than jet smoke.
