EverythingMoneyAttachments. All the money up front?

Sure hope so! I have an EA Wicked 55 on order now. Delivery estimate is Aug 1. Are you happy with the design change using the curved piece of AR450 on the bottom jaw? Are the welds clean?

    L3901 Wheels

Same tendency here, also. Just took delivery of a L3901HST with R1 tires early this spring. You're gonna love that tractor. Do you have the shop manual .pdf?

Hearing protection with music when running the tractor? What do you use?

I have the Bose earbuds and I use them. They get dusty but it wipes right off... and the Noise Cancelling cant be beat!

Get ready for the Grease Shortage

I don't understand why so many conversations on here seem to devolve into off-topic political debate. Like moths to a campfire....... At least the original discussion about grease was helpful - Thanks OP.

    What to spray field with?

Woah. You live out in the country and have a neighbor who reported you to the county noxious weed control board? And said board can fine you?!? In the area around my farm, that neighbor's barn/car etc would likely catch fire unexpectedly. My neighbors are great... but they don't suffer fools...

    Tired of drilling holes...

Classic case of a picture being worth a thousand words. Learned a little bit more about proper sizing of pilot holes. Now that I understand what the "web" of a drill bit is, it makes total sense why the pilot would be sized to it. Thanks! (y)

Most likely it would be to ignore you. Thanks again for your time.

    What to spray field with?

I'm a bit of an herbicide nerd - as I've been spraying deer foodplots for many years. Generally, I try to understand what plants i'm targeting... if its "everything" thats easy... glyphosate (roundup) is cheap and effective, especially with a surfactant added in. In your case, sounds like you...

Adding Loader hydraulics ( wet lines ) to a BX tractor that didn't come from the factory with them.

Hi Jim - I had the dealer install the hydraulics for my loader - so I cant comment on the process for a BX. We did add a 3rd function and rear remotes to my 3901 in the field, so I'm nearly certain it can be done. Just need the correct hoses/fittings and an understanding of where to connect...

    Tired of drilling holes...

Thanks NV! I did learn a little in the process of drilling all those holes. Didnt have cutting fluid at my farm, but did have some 4:1 shop oil. Started using that generously when I busted out the new carbide bits. Seemed to help the bits stay cooler, for sure. Am really not sure if that is...

    Tired of drilling holes...

Thanks for taking the time to put that reply together. I’m aware that hooking to the black cast iron floating link is possible. There are some problems, however… 1. That black floating link needs to be able to move freely. This is especially true when the terrain is very hilly/uneven, as my land...

    Tired of drilling holes...

Ha! Yep... just hit the 50 hour maintenace mark. Mostly heavy brush cutting. Right before those pics were taken, I'd been out re-grading a creek crossing. The tractor was a muddy, dusty mess - so I hosed it off. Looked so pretty I decided to snap a few pics. Thanks for noticing!

    Tired of drilling holes...

Decided I needed some Ken's Bolt-on hooks for my L3901. Didnt factor in just how tough the steel is on the top of that bucket! Cheap HSS bits and a drill doctor bit sharpener got me most of the way there, but it took FOREVER to drill each hole (about 20 mins each). After the first 4 holes, I...

    BX2200 Stump removal tips?

Elliott in GA: Some folks lead "no humor" lives. Like a duck in a rainstorm... I let their snarkiness roll off my back. The pressure washer comment was a good one. Messy, but good. Hope OP wears eye protection.🤓
