    Titan Clamp on forks?

I hear several on here talking about the clamp on forks but I'm thrilled with mine. I used the chains for a while and they actually started bending the bucket lip up so I quit the chains and the bucket has straightened out and hasn't bent since. they're stronger than my L3901 as I've tried to...

    Drought in West AL.

I'm near Birmingham and we're under a burn ban. There have been a number of forest fires. My pastures are so dry I'm already feeding the horses hay. Don't usually have to start till Thanksgiving. Normally plant winter rye in pastures last week of Sept but a waste if time and seed this year. I'm...

Got a little practice with my loader this weekend.

Actually I have put a piece of fencing over the culvert to keep limbs etc. out of it and surrounded it with electric fence to keep them out of it. but the culvert goes back into the ground horizontally so not much worry of falling in it. I know horses will do their best to find a way to hurt...

Got a little practice with my loader this weekend.

Other end of culvert is open in a valley across road. Mulga is 10 miles NW of Birmingham. Going to have to work on it some more to prevent washing.

Got a little practice with my loader this weekend.

Been living here since the 70's. Back then there was a mineral spirits plant there. Now it's part of my horse pastures. The culvert is at the bottom of two valleys that already route the water to the trench I dug. I was told the culvert was down there somewhere by someone that worked at the...

Got a little practice with my loader this weekend.

I've always heard that practice makes perfect so I figured the best way to get better with my loader was to dig me a little hole. I got a lot of practice. When finished it is 80 feet long 8' wide and 6' deep in middle. Was digging down to drain culvert that had gotten buried over the years...

    Oversized ballast box

Here's mine, added 400lbs of steel in bottom then filed 2/3 with cement. Weighs 1100lbs and you have the top of barrel to use as a carry all plus two pvc pipes for shovel, rake etc. Also added a hitch reciever and was cheap to make.

    Wheel spacers for L4701

Removing the FEL also makes the tractor much more stable and after removing and reinstalling it a few timesI found that it's a piece of cake and takes no more than 5 minuites to do and is well worth the effort for the additional stability.

    Wheel spacers for L4701

I put a set of Bora 3.5 inch spacers on my L3901 which widened it to 70 inches and I love them. A lot more stable, easy to install and have had no problems with or because of them. Also if your rears aren't filled that helps too.

What did you do to your Implement today

The grease in that rotary cutter gearbox will probably work for a long time. I've got a 5' bushhog squealer rotary cutter that started having problems keeping oil in the gearbox 10 years ago so started greasing it regularly. It's still running fine and I work the crap out of it. cut 5 acres of...
