    Kubota Series and Numbering

The letters are easy to understand; the numbering is not. Is there a difference between Standard and Professional, as between a B2300 and a B2320, for example, where the last 2 digits (1,2 etc + 0) indicate, Professional (heavier build)?

    Kubota Series and Numbering

I was once told that the numbering system says/said something: number with 3 zeros was a standard/consumer model; eg, B3000; and number with zero- number -zero, was a so-called professional model, a little sturdier and heavier. I have never been able to verify this.

    Kubota Series and Numbering

This is a very helpful page of information: http://www.orangetractortalks.com/2011/02/kubota-model-variants-explained/ What's missing is an explanation of the numbering system. For example, why/how is a B3030 different from a B3000 (both models seem to have been replaced by 3200 series).

    ??? on loading Tires

I had mine loaded mine with Fusion (beet juice) whilst the B3030 was in for service (regulator, dynamo shot, replaced with alternator). Since the dealer was used to loading corrosive calcium chloride into tubes, I had the borscht added via TUBES. Not expensive.

    F2560 Operator?Owner's Manual

I have looked high and low online, and I cannot find a copy of this manual anywhere. Does anyone have a clue of where I can find or copy this manual? There was one on eBay, but it sold. A photocopy will do. Thanks.

Does it cut tall grass without choking? Have you tried it on hilly terrain?

    Installing Lights on ROPS

My B303 had an extra wire at the rear where I attached my lights; grounded them to the chassis, added a switch and an inline fuse and all's well. You have to know if your Dynamo can handle the lights you want. One thing I did not do was drill into the ROPS; I used U bolts.

    fuel additives

Typically, my diesel can is 20L. I fill it to 18, then add 2L of oil? Or do I dump the fuel into the tank first and then add the oil? In other words, is there any pre-mixing?

    fuel additives

Thanks for the answer. What would happen if one used more than 10%? And, would one have to make modifications to be able to run on canola oil alone? Is it possible?

So, adding the canola in warm weather but not cold. How much canola to diesel? And I think I'd be right to say that, originally, the diesel was made for bio - oil, and that eventually it was modified for naptha, no?

It's not a bad idea to add one that prevents gelling at below zero temperatures. I use Power Service, available at Crappy Tire (north of the border); works well in cold temp and adds a boost.

You definitely need to get the rev's up. My B3030 likes 1200+.

This vintage Oliver with Pittman drive that I modded with hydraulic lift needs at least 25HP.

    Greenhorn goes Orange!

I have the Landpride; it takes getting used to, but it does an excellent job, better than a box scraper, I think.
