I did follow the wire from the glow plugs which is black with a white strip as far as I could in the wiring harness. When all the wires come through behind the dash I can only find 2 wires of the same color and size. One goes to the glow relay and other to a 4 wire plug for the key switch

Sorry if this is repeating itself from earlier posts but I did put a text light on the wiring that goes directly to the glow plugs. I have nothing it won't even light up. So nothing hot obviously to it.

Definitely all about cheap. I talked to a friend last night about the toggle switch idea but wasn't sure how to wire it but after reading this I do! Can I use a basic 12v tester to test the wire going to the glow plugs? I'm assuming it won't damage anything if I do? If I have power then my glows...

To avoid trying to trace wires and frustration would it be easier to put in a block heater? If I do where do I install in at on my L35?
