Repair case where tie rod (ball joint) connects?

That's exactly how we used to fix coal mine haul trucks. When I was cleaning out my toolbox at retirement and going through my saved prints I ran across a print of the bushing we made. The tapered holes were bored out onsite and the bushing installed with an interference fit. A larger washer was...

Right you are. Blaming old age for my memory lapse!

Kubota 2750D snowblower NEED HELP PLEASE!

That black ring may be an eccentric locking ring. Does it have a hole on the circumference? If it does, take a punch and hammer and try to get it to rotate on the shaft. If it won't turn one way, try the other way. I believe they are usually locked in the direction opposite of normal rotation...

adapting older implements whose 3-p5 attachment points are too high?

That's what I did. Welded plate to extend down on the quick hitch frame with another set of holes for the 3-point arms and added a new bracket for the tractor top link.

    2019 M5-091 narrow firewall fire

I would probably replace the wiring harnesses rather than trying to repair. If repairing cut out any heat affected wire one at a time and replace with new wire of the same gage. I would solder and heat shrink the splices. Just taping up burned wiring is just asking for more troubles down the...

    B7200 4WD front hub repair

Having spent nearly 50 years in a machine shop I've done several repairs like that. We called it "staking" it. I don't recall any of them failing but some may have and never heard about it. I have even seen original equipment manufacturers use that method in some instances. Most recently in...

    Learn how to diagnose electrical

Just remember you have to test under load for a voltage drop test. Eric O. at South Main Auto youtube just had a voltage drop test video on an alternator that was interesting. Real world example.

    Opinions of M 7060

I use the e-pto on my 12' batwing most of the time, and on the 7' snowblower all of the time. On the snowblower I run e-pto as fast as the tractor allows, which is 639 rpm so I have increased the through put of the blower plus the reduced engine rpm slows my ground speed, so win win.

    Opinions of M 7060

I got my 7060 the end of 2018. Ordered it pretty well loaded. The only things I would change if doing it again is I would get the radial tires and would get the self leveling loader as it seems I use the forks about 90% of the time now that the livestock is gone. Wish the cab had a little more...

    Learn how to diagnose electrical

Most valuable testing you can do when you have a no start condition. Finds bad connections, a bad battery, bad cables, switches, you name it. Practically no one knows of it. Too often it's just start by replacing things until it works or they give up.

BX 2660 possible cracked case at PTO bearing housing

Can you feel any up and down play in the PTO shaft? If you can you might want to investigate further. You say you disconnected the shaft and now it has about stopped leaking makes me wonder if the shaft is loose. I can feel no play in my BX22. You also should check and make sure the mowers PTO...

Most number of zerks on an implement - Land Pride RC3712 might hold the record

Bought my first Kubota from Krista in 2002. Brian was the service manager then. I've spent a little time in Sheridan as well. I'm located about 90 miles east of there. Chad was the salesman for the 7060/Landpride deal. Brian was involved as well.

I did. Got it in the same deal with the M7060

Most number of zerks on an implement - Land Pride RC3712 might hold the record

I have a RC2512 And agree there is a lot of zerks. It's a process getting it ready for the season between greasing and slipping the clutches.
