    No work!

Great to hear how well she is handling being blind, and that you decided to let her outside. Agree about being cruel to be stuck inside. We know our cats could be eaten by coyotes, but our happy medium is for them to come inside overnight to mitigate the risk. When you see how happy they are...

    dyeing herbicides?

A few years ago I decided to put some Rit dye in my herbicide pump sprayer so I could identify what I'd hit already. I've been super happy with the results, and maybe paid for the dye by not double-treating plants/weeds in the open areas I've treated. Anybody else tried this? It's even better...

Seat Position for Extended Time Outdoors?

If I leave the tractor for a few minutes and don't tilt the seat up, it will either rain all of a sudden or clouds split and the blistering sun comes out. Long term though is less about your ass, and more about the seat. Avoid the elements best you can. Trash bag or otherwise. Greg

    What's cookin' boys?

Good stuff! I love being challenged by what's on hand. Some of my favorite meals. We showed up late last night to off grid place during massive storms, only to find the power out until early AM. Creeks out of their respective banks etc. Wife had to leave for society this evening so I...

    What's cookin' boys?

Man that ramen looks fantastic! Sister-in-law gave us a pint of miso she made and this would be another perfect use... Not much time for posting or following along lately, but a man's gotta eat. Fired up a couple sizable local raised ribeyes tonight, and the wife made a nice salad with lettuce...

    Steel T-Posts

You may already know these things, but drill steel on a slower speed or it will likely overheat your bits, making them worthless (maybe causing what you're seeing?). So if using a cordless with 2 speed settings, use the slower. And as suggested, use some kind of cutting fluid (even motor oil...

Shipping Container Storage for M62 and Implements

I've had a couple now for maybe 3 or 4 years and personally have not had an issue with moisture. I keep a variety of items in them I wouldn't want in a humid environment. FWIW Greg

Shipping Container Storage for M62 and Implements

Probably a good choice if you won't miss the money. I haven't found much middle ground in my container options around here. I was able to pick my own the last time and still ended up needing to jack dents out of the roof so water could flow off, grinding the latches so the wife would have a...

    Whos into home grown

Looks nice. My wife keeps ours going year round (GA), but it's a much smaller operation. We can cover some things when it gets too cold. Greg

Thanks, yeah I always love catching owls but usually get them just flying out of view...at night... Footage is from our property in AL (where my tractor also is). Primary residence currently in GA, but will be AL before long. Greg

Tire foaming question(s)....Has anyone here done it?

In my case they were/are stock Polaris tires. But I don't doubt your analysis. The holes were too small and too numerous to be literal pin holes, so seems like a failure in the tire. Greg
