Finally got to go through some trail cam footage and found a few gems to share. Will post a few more as time permits. Greg Baby armadillos! (I set the wrong month when I changed batteries last): Wet barred owl eating a worm: River otter eating a fish: Blue herons

Need advice on gravel driveway repair

Maybe worth mentioning this. If the slope along the driveway is steeper than the slope across the driveway, the water will mostly run that direction, potentially creating long diagonal ruts down the length of the driveway. In that particular case, you may need to crown it. I couldn't really...

    Bucket cutting edge

Depends on your needs, but I second on the bolt-on tooth bar. My Piranha was fantastic ROI for me. Love the added grip when lifting or dragging logs etc. and makes digging up creek rocks, or dirt for that matter, so much easier. A must have, IMO. Good luck, Greg

    What's cookin' boys?

Sadly true. Wife asked me to pick up french bread but I didn't have time. Just lucky she found a small piece in the freezer.🙏 Greg

    What's cookin' boys?

We haven't had much time for preparing meals recently, but my wife whipped this up tonight with some stuff from the garden that needed to get eaten. Zucchini, snap peas, red peppers, tomatoes, okra, and not from the garden, white wine, garlic, butter, olive oil and shrimp. Turned out just as...

    Let's See Those Old Ads

Non-tractor, but maybe farm related as a stretch. I think it's a 68, which is what I own. Ran back across it cleaning out my shop for the move. Greg

    Punctured rear tire, L-35, thoughts/advice?

I plugged a front tire on my L3901 that got a nail or screw (can't remember now). I was quite far out on the property and thought it would at least get me back. Several years later and it's still holding fine. Greg

Max safe depth for water crossing?

Curious about Kubotas in paddies, I kept running across the MU4501 model in use in deep mud. My mind instantly thought "Mud Utility". Note the exhaust configuration. Greg

Max safe depth for water crossing?

Thanks GrumpyFarmer, def interesting to see this image. Also went and found a couple similar youtube videos of kubotas out in the paddies. Our creeks are rocky where I'm in them, and not enough current to get swept away. Generally if I'm doing any prolonged work like collecting rocks, it may...

Max safe depth for water crossing?

I have to cross or work in creeks fairly regularly, and sometimes they are higher than others. I've been comfortable getting up to the step on my L3901 to cross, but curious if anyone has advise on how deep is too deep? What components are susceptible to taking on water or doing damage to the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I now think of it as "tractor therapy". We're in the middle of a stressful move, and getting back on the tractor to catch up on things like this was a huge stress reliever. Greg

    dyeing herbicides?

I'm not sure as I only use out on the land. The marking dye mentioned above might make more sense because it apparently washes off. Greg
