    I spent an hour or so picking up branches and sticks blown down by a couple of high wind events over the last couple of weeks. Got most of them picked up, but had to give the ol' back a break. Probably get the rest tomorrow or Sunday if the weather cooperates.

    I have Snap-On 3/8" and 1/2" twist handle torque wrenches from the 80s, and a friend who repairs tools checked them a couple of years ago for me, since I do some engine work. Both were still with 2% over most of their ranges. They don't see a lot of use, but I am religious about backing them all...

    We are already above normal for snowfall this winter, so I have been able to use my JD430 with a blower more than in the last 3 years combined. It hasn't been above 20° in over 3 weeks, and has hovered around 0° to 10° for a couple of days at a time. The cold doesn't really bother me that much...
