There is a worklight plug-in under the left rear fender of my L3800 DT you can actually plug quarter inch wide flat spade into each And pull your power from there. I am actually in process of doing a light project as well.

I have an L3800 and there is a nut on the front of the Rops and I was wondering what size bolt would go into this...I am assuming that it is metric?

My local dealer always uses UDT even though the book says Super UDT. I just go with UDT.

What would be the best way to fix this bend? It's not that bad, but it really bothers me. Heat it up and straighten it? Learned my lesson...just spend the money on bucket hooks. Any thoughts?

I would be more concerned with the single bottom plow than with the tiller and HP issues. I see that the ground has been worked so I don't think you'll have issues with the tiller. The tiller will save you some time on already worked ground.

Well the LA525 that goes on the L3800 is hinged otherwise the hood would hit it.

I believe it is just some carbon? And condensation...I too have it under the muffler where I have let my L3800 idle. My barn is not heated and the black spot is iced over doesn't smell like oil either ...really no smell to it.
