Still looking for a shop manual for my T2290 lawn tractor. I need to change the idler pulley on the main belt drive (engine to rear axle hydro) and it is NOT easy to get to because it is "sandwiched" between framing pieces.

Once this tank is cleaned out like all the other posts recommend I highly suggest placing a "diesel tank water absorber snake" in the tank......... I have used them for years and they work great.

Try some alcohol (NOT the drink type) on a small area and see if it works........... I have had good luck with straight Simple Green and a brush so you have a "really tough stain" here. There is a product called CITROL 266 that may be hard to find and really works great for really tough grease...
