    Battery Disconnect Switch

I guess another option would be to mess with the seat safety switch. Someone else mention engaging the PTO. Throw that in for kicks. Maybe put a lockout-tag out tag on the steering wheel so when it won’t start they come to the conclusion it’s broke.

    Battery Disconnect Switch

I haven’t checked back back in a few days and this thread totally took off. FWIW my tractor is a L2501 and mower a Z725. I like the idea of the fuel cut off. Pulling fuses isn’t a bad idea either and cheap. Where my equipment sits they won’t be getting a truck & trailer to it. They would...

    Battery Disconnect Switch

I have a Kubota tractor and zero turn mower. Here recently the land around me was sold and is a new housing development. Where I was once secure in the middle of nowhere where I am now dealing with houses being built along my fence lines. I am worried my tractor or mower will be stolen. I...

Pros and cons to Kubota 0 turn mowers

I have a 725 with the Koehler engine. I was after a 726 with the Kawasaki engine. It was COVID at the time and most models weren’t available so I went with the 725 as they had one. It’s been great and glad to have it. Great mower.

    Kubota RTV XG850 Sidekick Experience?

I am kind of wavering between the sidekick and the rtv-x. The rtv is the machine I always wanted. The sidekick is cheaper with better financing right now. Researching the sidekick, it does appear to be a heavy built work oriented UTV. I just don’t need the speed. I just want a heavy duty...

    L2501 Advice?

Correct. I have the AG R1 tires. When I was shopping for tractors some 6 years ago I wanted the 3301 as I wanted at least 30hp. The fact the 2501 didn’t have the emissions stuff to deal with and the 2501 got the same torque at a lower RPM I rolled with it. I am glad I did.

    L2501 Advice?

I have a 2501. Mine is the manual transmission. I love it. Don’t regret the purchase for a minute. Zero regrets on the manual transmission. It works great. I have had it 6+ years. The one thing I did after buying it was to take it back to the dealer and have them fill the rear tires with...

    Kubota RTV XG850 Sidekick Experience?

Thinking about buying one of these. It’s more for working around my place, no trail riding really. I would rather have the RTV-X but they cost more. I have been using a couple old Yamaha gas golf carts for years and they have been fine (and as reliability has been perfect, they don’t break)...

L2501 Clutch and seat dummy plugs

why would you want to kill this feature? It could save you life. Is there some reason you want to jump off your tractor while it is running in gear?

    Bucket Level Indicator?

Thanks TheOldHokie. For $90 I will pass. I am totally confident in my bucket skills. Just thought it would be interesting to play with. I guess I should have figured it would be $90+ and not worth it for me. At the end of the day the real answer is to just learn and get the feel of using a...

Do they make a larger pedal for locking rear end

I agree the diff lock shouldn’t be used on a regular basis. For me it’s a last ditch effort and rarely used. That said what’s there isn’t quite adequate. Maybe because all my boots heals are about wore out and rounded off too much. I may just put some skateboard tape on mine. It needs...

    Grill guard pricing

You don’t need it day one. I would like to have one as I am in the woods. I use my tractor a lot to push trees up into burn piles. After 7 years I haven’t damaged anything. Just don’t be stupid.

    Bucket Level Indicator?

Can you buy a bucket level aftermarket? I have a L2501. I honestly don’t need one as I have used it enough. I have never used a bucket leveler and if cheap enough I would install one just to see how they work. I have used various front end loaders over the years and none of them ever had...

    Z725 Oil

I have a Z725 with the Koehler motor in it. The manual says 10W30 with an AP rating of SG, SH, or SJ. I went to Wal-Mart and could not find oil with those AP ratings. I noticed my 4-wheeler manual recommended the same AP ratings so I went to a motorcycle shop and no luck. When I change the...
