    L3901 and L3301

Yeah, don't even bother with the suggestions in the manual. I've got 3" spacers on the 3800 and pretty much needs 6' attachments to cover there tires tracks. I run industrial tires which are wider than ag tires. There's a member on here that has a twin blade 8' brush cutter and he says it...

    L3901 and L3301

Always try to remove the loader on flat / level terrain, and careful of dropping it within 3' of anything if the terrain is other than flat and level. I've watched someone do all kinds of damage trying to get an FEL back on in uneven terrain and next to a fence. They didn't want help.......I...

The skids shouldn't be touching the ground, just as the skids of a 'bush hog' shouldn't be touching the ground. If either of the those 2 mowers will have the skids engage the ground in a turn due to terrain, you should lift them. I don't really consider gradual sweeping orientation changes...

If you want to do any finish-like cutting what-so-ever, order the blades. After a whole season, roughly 1/3 of the blades needed some sort of attention. Some were in the 'replace' category, others just needed a couple seconds of angle grinder. I did mow over some larger rocks with the unit to...

    L3901 and L3301

The issue isn't with the regen itself. The issue is a few years from now when the DPF fails, your tractor is worth ~$12k, and suddenly you must spend $2k or more on it that serves ZERO purpose other than to put a smile on the bureaucrats in DC.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Used the 3800 with 1 fork attached to break up the mud out of the track loaders undercarriage :D -- I didn't have a nice hand-held jack hammer available

    TSC Subsoiler Modification

If you're under load and you hear a loud PING, it'll be time to heat, bang, and weld.

    Operating the L3901

Not to mention it'd freeze up when below freezing out -- then the machine wouldn't run at all.

    TSC Subsoiler Modification

The weak link of the TSC subsoiler is the 2 pieces of steel that run from the middle to either side on the back between the 2 3pt links. Those 2 pieces need to be reinforced. That's where they break :D Post 2, pic 1 -- the piece that forms the hypotenuse--broke it more than once

    Operating the L3901

The one on my 3800 stopped working after hitting the 2yr mark. It is not missed. There is no replacement for good operating practices - and when such a device interferes with good operating practices, it's no longer serving its purpose.

The drum should be balanced period. It should not matter if you change all blades at the same time to a blade of any weight. The balance should still be maintained. 28 mounting points = 7 per row, and 4 rows. Now if you have aftermarket blades and swap out just a few, if they don't weigh the...

I bet they include both blades -- The P blades are exactly like what I got from FlailMaster - Except they were 4$ ea and it uses 28 of them. Not sure where the other $100 comes from they're charging, perhaps installation? Need a 1/2 x 1" slot to get on the factory shackle. It's not rocket...

    Caroni tillers-forward or reverse rotation?

Attachments with slip clutches makes max HP ratings moot. ;)

I believe those are the factory blades. With 2 of them on a shackle back to back, they make an inverted Y shape. Those are the ones I feel to be worthless.

    Caroni tillers-forward or reverse rotation?

SW of Calhoun -- I've seen reports of TSCs from all over the country having tarter units, not just those around me. In the video I posted that's at the link to tarter mfg you will see in the background several hundred countly line implements (maybe even into the thousands).
