    BX 2370 brake repair

Hi all. I don't see any threads here about replacing the wet brakes on a 70 series transmission. Has anyone done it or can you refer me to a manual. The shop manual doesn't go into detail. Thanks.

    BX2230 Power steering hose replacement

REPLACING THE 4 HYDRAULIC HOSES OF THE STEERING PUMP Here's how I did it. Uncouple the fittings of the steering pump, top picture, located under the dash panel, for hoses 060 and 050. There is an adaptor screwed into the body and the hose screws on to the adaptor. I used a 5/8 and 11/16...

    BX2230 Power steering hose replacement

Under the dash are the other two hoses to the trans. They are the same age with cracks in the outer sheath. It seems like a good idea to change them too but I haven't found any threads in this forum. Do I have to pull the shell to get at those hoses? Or maybe access with the wheel off?

    BX2230 Power steering hose replacement

Thanks. The IPL helps too. I was looking for securing nuts and didnt see any. I know I need to be able to get at the fittings and I couldn't see any way. If I unbolt the cylinder, will it drop down to access the fittings easily? I didn't see any bolts when I looked.

    BX2230 Power steering hose replacement

I couldn't find anything on this in this forum. How do I replace the power steering hoses on the front wheels? I traced the 4 hoses under the dash and 2 go up front and 2 go to the transmission. I don't see a way to unscrew the front right fitting unless maybe lowering the front axle. Any...

Custom rear forks for the BX 3 point hitch using a Titan receiver

You are correct about the fun of building it! I fabbed uncountable prototypes during the last 50 years in industry. I learned and continue to learn from mistakes and criticisms, but eventually the project evolves towards a good end. All prototypes begin in the mind and don't come with plans...

Custom rear forks for the BX 3 point hitch using a Titan receiver

The picture above is the original design. Those extensions are much shorter now and really only prevent rocking. As far as the latch and gussets, of course, any bracing is good, but the weight on the pallet is probably limited to 400 pounds max.

Custom rear forks for the BX 3 point hitch using a Titan receiver

I wanted to buy rear mounted forks to move things around the property on a pallet. My first need was to move a refrigerator to the rear of the house into the basement. I searched the net and couldn’t find any. Surely Titan made them, but no. I already had a Titan 2” Receiver Hitch mounted to...

Making a rear ballast for my BX1870. Weight opinion?

Yeah, I thought I had enough clearance for the QD but the prototype got me. I knew about the rear blade option but I couldn't think of a single use for one. The weight is only for the front end loader.

Making a rear ballast for my BX1870. Weight opinion?

Finished product. I can drive on level surfaces with no weight on the front but more difficult on on an incline.
