Did you find a branch or the cover just fell off? At least the wires still intact.
I'm not sure when it came off or where it went. I took a spin in the buggy all around the field but no sign of it.
Made a new pad for the shed. It is just sitting on blocks and sinking. I have patio stones and 6x6's to put down and then it's getting turned 180°.
Saturday I put the pallet forks on. The Kubota mostly supervised, while I cut with the chainsaw. Mostly just smaller limbs I had thrown aside, but I wanted to clean up old stuff before cutting new stuff.
Overnight it rained quite a bit, so I used that as my opportunity to mow. Only the second time mowing this season since we've been in a drought.

Took a walk around the yard and look what I found.You'll find it the hard way next time you mow.

Too many questions about the fencing to not ask so I apologize for that!
In the first picture that looks like “split rail“ posts but the rails look like really good rails or sawn planks. Simple question is what type of fence is that?
In Texas if using sawn boards they are usually face nailed (or screwed) to the post. In split rail the post has holes for the rails to insert into but the rails are pretty rough and look split not sawn at all (except for the tenons).

Rails are sawn (roughly the same size as 5/4 deck boards (in fact, there are a few of them that were replaced with 5/4). They are not fastened, they simply slide into the post slots with approx 6-8" overlap. Only the corners are nailed/screwed.
I replaced the male fitting twice on my third function and the latest one was dripping. Decided to try a set of flat face couplers and see if that resolves the issue. I still need to swap them out on my post hole digger and grapple.
Found a few holes poked in the plastic grille on the LX. Darn the luck. I'm pretty careful using the grapple to make sure all the long stuff that can get me is turned crossways, but I think maybe I did it piling stuff up really high. We cleaned up nearly 3 miles of fence line that hasn't been touched in at least 20 years (including the Callery Pear trees). I think I bumped a couple sticks while trying to put stuff up on top of the pile. Guess I'm buying a new grill (after 5 years of not breaking anything). The replacement is about half the cost of most of the guards I see available for the LX. I like the 511 stuff, but they're pricey. Might have to try my hand at making something with some expanded metal grate. Got a little bit of that scattered about, as well as some light weight box beam.
Continued work on the driveway addition with the foreman "helping." She was kind enough to remind me which section or pile I was working on by lying right in the middle of the active work. When she helps, it only takes 3X longer.
