I have a 2016 B2650 and has worked terrific until a couple weeks ago. I went to start it and the screen went blank and it would not start. I replaced the fuse(with the seat up) and it would start. However, when I put the seat down it immediately blew the same fuse and shut down. I unhooked the plug for the seat and it would allow me to move forward but of course because it doesn't detect a driver it shuts down. Looking at schematics online I am unsure of which of the safety switches I should focus on and how to test it beyond what I have done.

I had the same problem recently on an L1 tractor. From what you describe it is the seat switch the reason for the fuse blowing. It shorts one pin to ground (tractor chassis) when putting down or sitting on the seat.
I'd suggest you try to take the seat switch off and see where the short circuit is, could also be in the switch wiring. I have not done that, otherwise I could send you pictures what it looks like.
For testing (!) you could disconnect the seat switch and short the bridge the connector pins on the tractor wire harness side with a thin solid wire. If tractor runs fine then this is the fault.

The seat switch is supplied through the fuse (red) and so is the instrument panel. Switch output goes to controller then (yellow). When you put the seat down the cable to the seat switch shorts to chassis / ground and blows the fuse.
Check where the cable is squeezed, repair it and possibly reroute or attach with cable ties that this cannot happen again.

It's not a B2650, caught that right away because a B2650 does not have bi speed turn.

I got that from the work shop manual. There were three variants of schematics in it, quite possible that I picked rhe wrong one by mistake. It was not my intention to confuse matters.

I loosely tied my B2650HSD seat switch lever in the down position with a loop of zip tie. Against the safety rules but a recent back surgery has left me unable to sit for more than a minute or so before the pain is too much.
So until I heal any work is done with me standing. Moving wood crates with pallet forks and some 3-point rotary mower work, short stints, that's it for now.

Yea sorry wrong tractor, that's the EU version, they are really not the same tractor as the US version.
I know stupid confusing.
I didn't make their number system up, I just know how to follow it.
Can you enlighten me how to distinguish the US from the EU work shop manuals? I had a look through it but did not see anything obvious.

First it lists models that were not offered in the US.
B2050,B2350,B3150
Second it has ROPS designs that are not available on the US models.
It has other options that are not available on the US models, like bi speed turn.
And when all else fails look up the Manual part number:
This manuals part number (last page): 9Y111-09820
The right manual for the US mode B2650: 9Y111-08222
So yea, not anything that's easy and obvious to figure out the difference.
When I had this problem it was an intermittent short in the neutral safety switch

man, just wait until 'they' mandate 'driver's seat occupied' switches in cars and you eat 1/2 can of beans for lunch....
Was there a way to test that? I disconnected the seat switch, it no longer blows the 5amp fuse, but without it hooked up I can't operate the tractor. When the switch is in the circuit it will blow the fuse every time. I realize that can also be a problem with the OCP, so just trying to troubleshoot which it is. Where on the 2650 is the neutral safety switch?

You've already pinpointed the issue- it's the seat switch circuit. Either the seat switch itself is bad or you have a short to ground between the seat switch and the OPC controller. If you want to isolate whether it's the switch itself or not, disconnect the seat switch connector and jumper the two terminals together on the tractor connector. If you're able to run afterwards, it was the seat switch. If it still blows a fuse with the connector terminals jumpered and the seat switch disconnected, it's a wiring issue.

You have a bad neutral safety switch. Had the same issue on mine blowing OPC fuse. $50 later, problem fixed.
The neutral switch (HST switch) isn't too bad to replace unless you have a backhoe. Support frame makes it tricky to get in there to replace it.

I will try the jumper. I assume besides a ground issue it could also be the OPC module too?
I will look at the neutral safety switch too. I assume I can remove it and test it to check if it is able to close and open and not short.

When I bench tested my bad switch, it appeared to be fine...but I can tell you that in the field it was not. Perhaps yours is just out of adjustment.
What did you do to or on your Kubota today?
Just getting acquainted with the BX. The feel for the 3 pt is "different" than OldBlue. Need to set the speed low to develop a better touch. At least on day 2 my brain has adapted to the opposite direction of the throttle lever and brake on the opposite side. Ground is a bit on the soft...

You put down the seat, the fuse blows. Check the seat switch cable or disconnect the switch and jumper the connector. That's it.
